Ivypool's Story

Chapter 14

Ivypool's POV

     Ivypool was eating a vole when she heard a loud noise and she looked up from the vole to see Cherrypaw running wildly into the camp her eye's wide as moons. Cherrypaw was gasping for breath as Firestar walked up to her and asked her what was wrong. Cherrypaw managed to gasp out "L-l-l-Lionblaze's patrol is fighting the Shadowclan cats right now he told me to get help"! Ivypool was immediately on her paws and in the circle of warrior that was murmuring in worry. Firestar's eyes were dark but his voice was confident and he said "Ivypool, Dovewing, Graystripe, Dustpelt, Foxleap, Brambleclaw, Sorreltail, Toadstep, and me will go and find the patrol the rest of you stay here and protect the elders, queens, and kits". All the warriors nodded including Ivypool and before she knew it she was already out of the camp. When she and the patrol neared they heard yowls, shrieks, snarls, and growling and when they cam into veiw all the Thunderclan cats were all beat up badly except of course Lionblaze who only had a couple of fur missing from different spots but he was covered in a lot of blood. Ivypool could see that the Lionblaze and the others were terribly outnumbered. Ivypool let out a battlecry and leaped on to Snowbird and she swiped a strong blow and she hit Snowbird's cheek. Snowbird whipped around eyes blazing with fury. Snowbird leaped but Ivypool ducked and slid underneath Snowbird and sliced at her stomach cutting an efficient wound but not deep enough to wound her too badly and she leaped to her paws quickly and slammed her paws into Snowbirds side while she was stunned and she pinned her to the ground but Snowbird was soon out of her shock and slammed a hard paw into Ivypool's stomach and she reared to her paws and snarled while a paw lashed out to cut a deep wound into Ivypool's flank but Ivypool dove foward and hit Snowbird's tendons on the back of her hind-legs causing Snowbird to fall unbalanced. Snowbird yelped as Ivypool rn thorn sharp claws across Snowbird's spine. Snowbird sent one final kick and raced away into the trees. Ivypool whipped around to help Lionblaze who was in battle with Scorchfur and Rowanclaw. Ivypool sent a smashing blow to the side of the deputy's head and he went tumbling into Foxleap who whipped around and dug his claws into Rowanclaw's shoulders. Ivypool whipped around looking for anyone who needed help and she noticed that Sorreltail was fending off blows from three warriors. Ivypool snarld and leaped to help her clanmmate. Ivypool swerved to slam a paw into Owlclaw. Ivypool sent smashing blows and sent Owlclaw racing away and Ivypool leaped at the remaining warrior in front of her. She snarled at Starlingwing and knowcked his paws out from underneath him and sent him racing away after Owlclaw. Ivypool whipped around to look at Sorreltail and she saw Sorreltail sending Smokefoot racing into the trees. Soon she rezlized that it was only Rowanclaw and Blackstar remaining and Blackstar snarled "don't think you've won Firestar because someday Shadowclan will take territory from Thunderclan"! Firestar retorted "not from Thunderlcan you won't"! Rownclaw snarled but raced away after his leader. Ivypool let out a relieved sigh and went to look for Doewing and Lionblzae and he saw them coming out from the trees.
