TW: ADDICTION, SPOILERS

As the team boards the jet, you take a peek at your phone before you start debriefing. You couldn't help but marvel at the jet. Shiny leather interior, a soothing beige colour. The seats looked as comfortable as they felt. Although it was a bit older than the one that the IRT had, it was much bigger. It had a different smell to it, too. It wasn't a bad one, but something different than you were used to. Redirecting your attention towards the case again, you take a seat beside Spencer. Before gathering to debrief, it was only Spencer, JJ, and Emily sitting across each other and one last seat was empty.

     "Hey, you." Emily greets.

"What's up, guys." You respond, looking around at the three of them.

"So, Theo, are you nervous about your first case at the BAU?" JJ asks, storing a small grin on her face.

Spencer looks at you and answers JJ's question for you. "Of course she isn't, right Theo?"

"Spence, is your name Theo?" Emily asks with a giggle.

"It's fine. You get used to having your older brother answering for you." You joke back. "I'm really happy to be able to become a part of this team. I've always enjoyed working with the BAU when I was with the IRT. So I guess knowing you guys does ease a lot of my anxiety."

"Sorry to interrupt," Hotch announces to the four of you, leaning against the chair beside you. "Everyone, gather around."

Hearing Hotch gather the team like a parent would gather his children made you laugh. It cemented the idea of this family is one with roles, and more importantly holding a place within. It made you excited for the future ahead of you while working with this team, giving you insight into how this team functions like a family. You perked up, but couldn't stop your eyes from wandering.

Just looking at her lips as they delicately purse together, her eyes as they flutter, and her hands softly holding her tablet. You liked to pay attention to how her eyes held so much life in them. How her hair fell perfectly on her shoulders, her bangs laying on her forehead right at her eyebrows. She had always been someone you thought was attractive, but within the last few years, you began to see her differently. But before you let your mind wander any farther, you redirected your attention back to the team and the case at hand.

Since there wasn't much evidence to cover, by the time you looked further into the case with the team everyone had dispersed. So you took the time to focus on the case by yourself, carefully studying each detail. But there was something different from this plane ride, and it wasn't the change of teams or jets. You felt eyes on you. Emily's eyes. Looking up from your tablet, your eyes meet, but only for a second. Just long enough to leave you wanting more. You let a shallow breath from your lips, seeing her lick her lips in return.

Having gotten lost in your own world of stolen glances and romantic thoughts, you had noticed the plane beginning to land. Gathering yourself, you sit upright, ready to get off the jet. You felt Emily's leg rub against yours, taking yet another look at the culprit. Her touch, though only taking place within a mere second, felt like an eternity. Your stomach filled with butterflies, your palms beginning to sweat profusely. It wasn't until you got up and stumbled over the chair across the aisle from you that other people began to notice.

You evacuated the plane like there was a fire, justifiably leaving the team slightly confused. The second person to get off the plane was Derek. He had put on a stern look and shuffled in closer to you. You could tell he was trying to be discreet, but already he was showing you how much he cares about his team.
