Jisoo finally took me home that day, we did went and got ice cream and pizza, she took me to the beach after that. We talked, and went home. A part of me was glad she didn't bring up sensitive topics, part of me was confused.

I sighed and look at my wrist, 7:57. My shift ends at 8. I grabbed my stuff and say goodbye to the other workers. I exited to see a girl I least expected leaning against her brand new car.

She smiled as she see me, her hair was falling smoothly onto her shoulder, her dyed it's ash gray now. She walked towards me and her smile got wider. "You seen to be overworking yourself, Jennie."

"What are you doing here Chaeyoung?" I asked, going straight to the topic. "I told you I'll prove that I love you." She showed me her chipmunk smile and I feel myself falling all over again. "I'm busy today." I tried to find an excuse. Not because I don't wanna be near her, I'm just scared of falling in love all over again and just get hurt in the end. I can't afford to get hurt and used anymore.

"Jennie, I promise. I won't do anything. Let me help." She grabbed my hand, "Let me take care of you." Her thumb slowly rubbing my hand. I sighed, giving in and nodded at her. "Let's go?"

I ended up walking with her to her car. She stopped me and opened the passenger seat. I widened my eyes and a smile appeared on my face. "Kuma!" I exclaimed and picked the puppy up in my arms. "How did you get here?"

"I picked him up from Irene's home." Chaeyoung scratched the back of her head. "She let you?" I asked, rubbing Kuma's belly as the puppy licked my nose.

"I'm the one who pic- i mean, yeah she let me." She replied, I sat in passenger seat as Chaeyoung started driving to God knows where.

"Let's have a date." Chaeyoung suddenly said, I glared at her. "A friendly date." She added and I knew she didn't mean it when she said friendly. "Sure sure." I sarcastically said, for the first time. I felt completely comfortable with her. "Where did Soo take you yesterday?" Here it comes.

"Really? Right when I was gonna enjoy this date, you bring Jisoo up. Did you came just to ask me about Jisoo?" I turned to her. She sighed. "It's not like that, I'm just curious."

"We just went for food and the beach. That's it." I told her and she let out another sigh, more like she's relieved. "What?" I asked, "Nothing!" She laughed, placing her hand on my thigh. I let her be anyway, "You're getting thinner." She frowned and eyed me. "Nah, I'm healthy as well."

"You're starting to wear sweater too?"

"I've been wearing for years." I replied. She looked and me she seems to be thinking something. "Look at the road Chaeyoung." I glared at her. She was still looking at me.

I saw the car slowly going out of lane and a truck coming from the opposite direction towards us. "Chaeyoung!" I screamed holding Kuma in my arms tightly. Chaeyoung snapped back to reality and quickly turned but it was too late. I heard a crash and another crashed followed after that. A pair of arms wrapped securely around me.

I feel my head hit the window glass and I passed out.
