The lonlieness creeps up on me, like a monster in the night, preying on every quiet moment. The familiar feeling is alluring, tantalising and every night it gets harder to push the thoughts away. Comforting coldness wraps it's arms around me, suffocating, but I mistake it for air. I let it in, happily drowning amidst the blue emotions. By the time I realise what's happened it has already got me in a vice grip and I haven't the strength to make it let go.
