We decided not to stay in the living room, so I lead Jace up the stairs towards my room. Without a word we walked up there slowly, me fidgeting with my fingers and Jace watching how nervous I was. I turned the corner up to the third floor. Stairs again. It wasn't an awkward silence, it was more like I need my personal space so don't talk to me silence but also dont go. I turned the corner and I bolted as fast as I could into my room. I slammed the door closed locking it behind me. I fell onto my bed and started crying.
'Scarlet, let me in.' Jace says pounding on the door
' Com'on Scarlet I'm your boyfriend. I need to be by your side to help you get through tough times. Be there when you need me. Be there when you need a hug. I need to be there whenever you need me for whatever reasons let me in Scarlet. Please.' Jace says quietly yet loud enough for me to here him. He had stopped the pounding and started tapping
'Ok' I said wiping my tears with the palm of my hand.
I jumped off the bed unlocked the door and then opened it.
'Com here.' Jace says opening his arms ready to hug me
I stepped forward, opened my arms, and hugging him. I cried into his chest. He rubbed my back then stopped and pulled me even closer to him.
'Picky will be alright I promise. Okay.' He says gently
'Okay.' I say In the middle of a cry
'Look at me Scarlet.' Jace says leaning back but keeping his hands on my waist. I move mine towards his neck and I keep them there. He's only 5 inches taller than me I seriously need to grow.
