Chapter 6

I'm driving home from school with Emme and walk in apparently our other siblings jezbel gave them a free pass not to attend since they have to make a big splash to make at ball and thats the only thing they should be worried about I hear emme sigh

"I don't want to attend that stupid ball tonight it's going to be horrible" emme says

"You're telling me, do you remember the last one we went to!" I tell her

"Yes where we spent all night being Ignored or made fun of by everyone" i say

"Exactly like why do they keep putting us through that they want others to wed so only they have to go" Emme says

"I mean you are right but nothing we can do and most important thing we have each other all that matters so were both going to dealing with it" i tell her

"Yeah you're right but if were honest we know my mom does it on purpose the forcing us to go the hideous dresses compared to our siblings and i think she loves that we get isolated" Emme says

"I know Emme but we just got to stick out for a little while then we will leave this forsaken town" i say

"I know you hate when i say this but i get a completely different gut feeling for us" she says

"Ugh this again were getting out nothing is left here for us to do and were not getting married or going to to be swept off our feet" i tell her

"Would we though, Serena do you think all marriages are that bad like good ones aren't possible" she ask

"I honestly don't know maybe there's good ones but i think its hard to find or takes alot of work or " I start

"Hard work to get too mhmmm i think so too" emme says

"Well were here lets get our last fitting and then hide out until the ball i guess" I say shrugging and turning off the car

"Can i punch my mother she deserves it already texting me don't give her a headache or i better not stick out like a fat blob and embarrass her tonight" emme says sighing

"Fuck her emme you're beautiful she's just an old bat lets go inside" i grab her hand and walk

We walk in and the hustle and bustle is everywhere 

Jezbel looks like the veins on her head are about to pop out and she keeps screaming at the top of her lungs

"You two please go unnoticed today I can't deal with you tonight it's not good for me I have much more to focus on then wondering what mess you're getting into" she says

"Don't worry Jezebel we don't want to be anywhere near you" emme tells her

"Emme who do you think you are speaking too like that I'm your mother" she yells

"There's nothing motherly about you never has been never will be"
Emme says walks away

"Your daughter is right you will always be the worst" I say following emme upstairs

"Good job sis I'm so proud of you she definitely needed to hear that" I say and emme laughs

"Well let's finish our homework before this event" she suggest

"I'm telling you the event of doom is coming  I have a feeling" I say

2 hours later

My dad walks In our room and has to dresses in his hands and we both look at him confused...

"Your grandmother had these dresses delivered to you will wear it tonight both of you" he says

"You sure your wife will be okay with because I surely ding mind pissing her off but those gowns will not be those disgusting garbage bags she got for us" I say

"Just take it and wear it ill take care of Jezebel don't worry" he says

"Are you sure because she tend to take care of you and your opinions" I say

"Serena please don't start just listen okay" my father says and walks out

"Well grandma has come to the rescue" emme says

"Yeah looks like it wow these are pretty" we both says taking them out of the bag

"I'm not lie gonna lie this makes me a little more excited to go" emme says

"I get you but this doesn't mean we'd get noticed and we don't want to we want to get out of this life and getting married isn't a priority" I tell her

"I know Serena but it's nice to feel pretty for once I can't even remember the last time we did" she says

"You're right how about we go get ready for the event since the rest of the fam is on the other side and to busy to bother us" I tell her

"Alright I'll go shower first while you finish reading your book" Emme tells me and I just lie down and continue and when I'm finally getting to the good part a, knock comes on my door and I get up and open it and see Natasha

"Hey just came here to check on my little sis" Natasha says

"Hey I'm good just waiting for emme to get out of the shower and then getting ready" I say

"Well I'm sorry Jezbel put you in that ugly outfit but you'll shine no matter what you're stunning Serena" she says

"Thanks but not compared to you but it's alright nana came to the rescue again and I point at the 2 dresses" she gets up and opens the cover up

"Omg how stunning yes you're gonna look beautiful and make jezbel brains want to burst which is a plus" she laughs

"Oh hey Natasha didn't know you'd be in here" emme says

"Hey emme just came to see you guys and let you both know no matter you're beautiful what" Natasha says

"Thanks Natasha you will be beautiful too we will see you from the sidelines because you'll definitely be noticed" emme says

"I don't think you want by the scary two but you will stand out" I say

"NATASHA WHERE ARE YOU YOU'RE WASTING Time"jezbel screams at the top of lungs

I better go she says slipping out quietly and waving

And we turn to each others and start getting ready
