We get home 20 minutes ago and aparently Krew has been locked in his room for an hour now and isn't letting anyone in fucking ridiculous he's acting like a child it's annoying so I finish changing and decided I'm barging in no matter how upset he is because he can't behave and give no explanation When I walk down the hall I single krews bedroom door and it's locked so I start knocking
"What I want to be left alone" I hear him yell
"Krew it's me open up please" I say
He goes silent for 5 minutes and then the lock unwinds and wait for him to open the door but nothing happens
"Its unlocked come in" he says And I walk and see him lying down on the bed and his eyes just Flickr towards me

"How did you unlock the door and get back in bed so fast did you shapeshift" I ask
"No Serena it's called technology I unlocked it from my phone" he says
"So are you going to tell me what your problem at that party was" I say
"I hate Colton does that answer your questions" he ask sarcastically
"Well I think everyone that was there could say that" I say
"Ughh he's my cousin okay our moms were sisters" he says

"Yes they were each others best friends actually that's pretty much why me and Colton are two months apart they both dreamed of having kids close together so we can be close so when they did they were ecstatic" he says
"So why do you dislike Colton?" I ask
"When I was attacked with my mom by the creek she'd be sending letters to them for months saying that we were in trouble and needed help and they never came or responded" he says

"I watched my mother be raped by multiple men and die days later next to me Serena even after being beaten almost to death" he says
"How did you survive and who saved you?" i ask
"They thought I was dead they did a good number on me but they did not know how fast I could heal but I did stay there for a good 3 days before I was found my mom died on day 2 and Gavin found me and he took me to his home and we'll he nursed me back to my normal self" he says
"Did you know Gavin before he took you in after your attack?" I ask
"Nope he was just a nice kid he offered more help than my supposed family" he laugh with hurt
"Family isn't perfect Krew sometimes you don't know the other side till you get answers" I say
"I got my answers Serena and maybe it was for the best who knows what would've happened to me if I was with them instead of Gavin I wouldn't have met my mate and I was safe there so it's cool" he says
"How do you know that Colton and his dad knew you were attacked maybe" I start.... And he cuts me off
"I sent them them a letter after I got better Serena trying to move on and forgive them they couldn't write back but they knew exactly where to send a letter when Coltons dad was getting remarried" he says
"What happened to your aunt why did they divorce? I ask him
"They didn't I heard my aunt got really sick and past away and I guess it shows how good xtons father is apparently he got remarried to her best friend soooo you try to tell me I have no right to be angry" he says
"The Colton I just met doesn't seem like someone who doesn't care for you" i say
"Yeah he's pretty good at changing his scales too clearly acting like he gives a fuck and I don't care I don't want him near me or anyone in this pack which includes your siblings" he says
"And what do you want me to do Krew have emme heart broken" I say
"A broken heart will be safer for her then actually having Colton as her mate" he says
"I know you are upset and hurt and you have every right to be but think of emme at least figure out if he's using her because to me and I could be wrong it does not seem like it" I say
"Do you forgive your parents Serena?" he ask
"My dad sure he had some good sides but I know he wasn't all good abd did evil and that is but something I can forget but my step mom I forgive her in the sense of not letting them hold a power over me all I care about is being a better person than they ever were" I say
"Mhmm thanks but I honestly want to be left alone can you tell Gavin I'm alright I don't need him breaking down my door" he says
"Sure don't let the hate take over Krew I see the good in you" I say and I actually kiss his forhead And walk out
Colton mini POV
I finally get to emme house or I guess Krew and Gavins pack house and I stay behind the gate
"Well my instructions are too drop you off here" I say
"And how do you feel about that?" emme ask
"I hate it in the sense that I can't be a gentleman and walk you to your door but I respect Gavin and I'd do anything for my cousin to forgive me especially when I don't know how we ended up like this" I say feeling defeated
"I want to help you fix this" emme says
"Just being next to me emme you are helping me okay now gavins walking out so go meet him" I say and get out with her
"Hey emme welcome back did everything go safely" Gavin ask
"Yeah I'm good thanks for asking bye Colton" she says
"Bye love I'll see you okay promise and Gavin I'm sorry for all this I don't want trouble is he okay" I ask
"Yeah Colton I know and hes locked in his room bye man" he says and walks in with him
I get back in my car and max finally sits up
"Complicated shit you got going on brother" he says
"Yeah tell me about it my cousin hates me and I still don't know why after all these years and my mate is siblings with his awesome" I say sarcastically
"Well no matter what I'm here for you" he says
"Yeah I know what's up with you and Natasha I saw that" I ask

"You see how they got in so late and did not want to explain much detail" she says
