Camila bought herself an energy drink at the bodega the next day when she went to get lunch for the guys. She was exhausted. She'd been up all last night working on the song so she'd have something to show Shawn tonight.

She had a few lyric ideas, a general idea of something and she couldn't wait to show Shawn.

She chugged her energy drink as she waited for the lunch order to be ready. She then reached for her phone and earbuds in her pocket.

Camila still wanted to make a few tiny additions and tweaks to what she had before she showed it to Shawn, and she needed inspiration.

She put her earbuds in and turned on the recording of her talking to Shawn. A notification came up, warning her about her phone storage, but she ignored it.

She let it play in her ears as she finished getting the order and walking back to the station. She'd listened to it a little bit last night too, meaning now she almost had the whole thing memorized.

Camila found herself smiling to herself at the sound of Shawn's voice in her ears. It was just so calming and sweet, and his jokes were even funnier the third time, making her hold back her laughter so people she passed on the street didn't think she was crazy.

She was listening to Shawn tell her about his rise to fame, and how exciting that was for him, as she stepped into the elevator at the station. It stopped on the second floor and someone else stepped in with her, another intern who worked at the station with her.

"Hey." Camila said politely, trying to focus on just carrying the bag of food under one arm, her phone, and energy drink in one hand.

"Hey, what are you listening to?"

"Oh, um, just a music podcast thing." Camila said, blushing. "It has this really cool guest."

"Who?"

"Do you remember Shawn, with that song, Stitches?"

"Oh, a little bit, maybe." She chuckled. "He sounds familiar."

"Yeah, it's pretty interesting." Camila wasn't sure how much she should give away—how much of Shawn's comeback was still a secret for now. "He's sort of...adorable."

"Ew, weirdo, wasn't he like fifteen?"

"I meant now!" Camila felt her face flushing as she laughed. "Go look up what he looks like now."

"What does he even do now?"

"A lot of really interesting stuff, like saving the whales!" Camila wasn't sure why she felt so defensive. She knew it was a fact—Shawn wasn't exactly a household name anymore, but he should be.

She was still laughing when the elevator stopped on Camila's floor. She stepped out, pushing past everyone waiting as Shawn's voice played in her ears.

She couldn't believe she just said that, called Shawn adorable. It was weird to say about someone she just met, someone she had a professional-only relationship with, even if it was true.

Camila carried the lunch down the hall to the studio, glancing up at the on-air light to make sure it was off before she knocked and entered. In her ears, Shawn was joking around as Camila dug through the bag and placed the sandwiches on the counter.

"...I loved Harry Potter when I was a kid..." He said on the recording.

"...Yeah, pretty much every kid back then did. We were all into Harry Potter..." Camila heard herself reply.

"...Not like I was." Shawn insisted. "I was super obsessed with it! I would watch all the movies, and I literally had a book where I would write down every spell and what it did—like I was convinced I was going to be a wizard or something if I did that..."
