5 years later...

I waved at the boys as I was tearing up. I got in Adam's car with Adam in the front seat. Adam looked at me and asked, "Are you sure you don't want to stay?"

I sighed, "You guys need a break with being a father."

Adam chuckled along with me. He started up the engine and started driving. I scrolled through my Instagram on my phone.

Adam pulled the keys out of his car and watched me. I looked at him for about a minute then I pulled him in for a hug. I heard him sniffle so I rubbed his back. We both pulled back.

"Thanks for the life lessons." I said.

"And thanks for the parenting tips" He said. I smiled and wiped the tears out of my eyes. We both got out of the car to get my luggage. I gripped the plane ticket in my pocket.

Adam walked me into the airport and stopped at my flight border. He hugged me one last time then said, "Be safe, Piper"

I nodded and grabbed my luggage. I turned and slowly started to walk on the line. I took out my ticket and read where I was heading. This was a big decision going here. It's so far away from this place.

The lady scanned my ticket and greeted me as I walked through the tunnel. I went to my seat on the plane and put my luggage in the top storage. I sighed as I looked out the window.

Goodbye Los Angeles...
