Chapter 12

'NO! Piper that is a BAD idea! Do not go crazy after stabbing Mitch after all it was on accident. You thought it was a black figure trying to kill/kidnap you.'

"Officer?" I spoke.

"Yes Miss" He said.

"I really didn't do it."

"Oh is that so?"

"Yes!"

"Well next time you lie make it better"

There was a deep silence.

"Alright, Officer, you want me to tell the truth? Okay I'll give you a brief description."

"Well get on with it"

"Before the stabbing of Mitch happened, I was kidnapped by this guy named Mark. I killed him because he was harassing me and a few girls. We escaped and two of the girls got hit by a car. I was...*sigh* so angry. The only surviver was my adopted sister. I adopted her since she said she had no family. We walked to my house and when we got in no one was home. Usually there are 7 boys in the house but I guess they were looking for me when they probably realized I got kidnapped. I started hearing footsteps and told my sister to get behind me and walked with my pocket knife. The knife was my only protective item I have. I saw a black figure and I thought that I would get kidnapped or killed again and I wasn't going to let that happen again. I couldn't make out the visual of what the figure looked like so I started stabbing the figure until I saw the whole vision of him and it was my father that adopted me, Mitch." I said taking a deep breath.

"God, I hope he's still alive." I say again.

The cop pulls over and turns over and says,

"Miss, what you said sounded like the truth and will remain the truth because today is your lucky day. I'm releasing you" he said.

My eyes lit up.

"Officer, can I walk home I know this area and it's easy to get home here." I said.

"Yes miss please be safe." he uncuffed me and I started to walk down the street. I saw my house and I realized something wasn't right.

The house was red and orange....
