Draco's POV
Finally. It was time for Care of Magical Creatures. I will be able to see Hermione.
I couldn't hide the grin on my face, so I made sure I was walking alone.
"Drakie!" little Greengrass called, and my smile faded and I just huffed.
"Yes?" I said, and she quickly caught up and locked our arms together.
Doesn't she have her own classes to get to...
"What about we skip this class..." she said, and I rolled my eyes and pulled my arm away from her.
"No. I really don't think this is the time...don't you have your own classes anyway?" I said, trying to get to the forest.
She grabbed my arm tightly, making me stop and turn around to look at her.
Anger was plastered all over her face, until she saw me turn around.
"C'mon. It's only one class..." she said, a seductive tone hidden in her voice. I sighed.
"Will you leave me alone after classes if I go with you." I said, and she thought for a moment.
"Let's just go to class." she said, and she locked our arms again. I huffed again.
"You're in your first year. Shouldn't you be in flying lessons or Transfiguration?"
She totally ignored my comment.
I looked for Hermione. I knew that I hurt her because I called her a mudblood...but I just want to see her. Even if she had that Potter and Weaselbee by her.
Then I saw her bushy hair.
Happiness filled me up.
Then she caught my eye
giving me the feeling of
a lighting strike."Draco! Draco!" Astoria tugged at my arm.
"Wh- what." I mumbled, still looking at Hermione, even if her eyes were far off mine.
"Why are you looking at that mudblood!" she screamed, and Hermione's head turned while my head turned to look at her.
"Don't say that word!" I snapped loudly, and at this point, all heads turned to us.
"Since when did you care about me saying mudblood!" she said in anger, and I could feel my cheeks get hot.
"Shut up Greengrass! Mudblood isn't a nice thing to say at all!" I snapped back, and she slapped me right across the face.
My cheek stung, and by this point, my hands were in fists, and I could just imagine the steam coming out from my ears.
"Talk to me when you're back to normal, Malfoy." she screamed in my face.
She walked away after her last word, and I was so angry and embarrassed.
Everyone heard the whole entire thing.
"Draco!" Blaise called and when he neared me he whispered, "Are you alright?" I nodded my head and turned back to the castle. I wasn't in the mood for class anymore.
"Wait up!" Blaise said and he came by my side again.
"We need to talk about this...Granger obsession..." I frowned at his words, but he took my arm and lead me to the Black Lake.
We both took a seat, and we just sat in silence for a while.
"Tell me everything." he said, and I sighed.
