  For Akai_Serei.

With words you craft worlds, the real one falling away with the thrill of new chapter.

===================

I'm....Not really sure if there are rules for epilogues? Some of my readers asked for 'the happily ever after' part and others wanted the 'what happened with the morning after?' part. It seemed insane to combine the two, so I decided to divide this epilogue into 4.

 There will be more stories coming soon in the Kings & Dreams story as well.

Warning: Some rules in life stick no matter how you wish otherwise. Grief even in happiness doesn't just disappear and feeling grief when you should be happy, can end up being a cycle of guilt, involuntary emotional responses and distress. I could skip this part entirely, but happily ever afters are built from ashes not made with wishes. Switching off the longing setting in your brain is not quick either.

So Shen Wei is going to be experiencing this, but it will be a background thing.

This giant one  will be about Kunlun and Shen Wei finding his feet. Because the biggest question was how these two kings actually make being married to each work. How we get out happily ever after! :)

The next one is the alternative to this giant chapter, because I cannot decide on which one!!

I would love to know which one you prefer!!

After that, we have an extra about Sang Zan and Kunlun meeting Shen Anujin.

The final one will be about Jie Ming's wedding and Shen Wei beginning his new life

Here be badly written smut! *darts behind rock* It begins  at the trio of Zhu Yilong pics...it ends pretty much at the end...

Thank you for reading!!

Dust motes shine like gold for the measure of a heartbeat and incense smoke curls and coils in the air.

A song was hummed in low snatches as strong fingers straightened and fussed with a long portrait. A rustle of silk accompanied silent footsteps as the Emperor of Dixing, stepped behind his wide black desk to consider his handiwork.

The portrait of Kunlun in his signature peacock green robes looked onto his desk as he hoped it would, the painted dark eyes nothing but charcoal compared to the real ones of foxfire black jade, a night sky and an entire world in his gaze...but as always there was comfort in seeing that beloved face.

Painted on light paper and the smallest one of his collection, it had been transported well, adorning this space and finally making it feel at little less like a domain belonging to someone else
