**Max's POV**
Knock and I ended up just laying in bed for another 30 minutes talking about Yu and how he was growing up too quickly before doing anything else. I find it entertaining that he was a bit of a mess as a college student when I first met him but now he's a worried dad.
It's such a strange concept but It just makes me love him even more to see how much he's grown...
After that we finished packing up the room and than convinced Yu to let us help him pack. With our help he was able to finish in about an hour.
Now were all in the kitchen huddled around the bar that wraps around the work space watching Yu, Evelyn and Mom bake together for the last time before we move.
We all know that we will probably be over here tomorrow just to say hi and hang out but Mom got emotional just thinking about all of us moving out so here we are. There is flour and sugar everywhere but no one cares.
Evelyn: She looked up from rolling dough as she starts to grin. "Are you guys really not going to help?"
Max: I just point at the 5 batches of cookies they had made yesterday. "You guys bake so much with just the three of you that I already have 4 boxes that were going to take with us. Cookies are going to be the first food in our house, do you know how unhealthy that is?"
Evelyn: She just sticks her tongue out as she hugs mom. "It's a good thing we cant gain weight isn't it Ma?"
Mom: She looked a little nervous but she just nodded before giving a small smile. "Of course, or I would be made of only sugar by now."
Evelyn: "Me too."
Yu: He looks over at all of us with wide eyes. "Can I be made of sugar? That sounds so cool!"
Knock: "No you still need to eat your vegetables, broccoli wont kill you Yu."
Yu: He stuck his tongue out in disgust as he shoves his hands into the dough that was in front of him. "Can I make cookies that look like broccoli?"
Knock: "You already know the answer to that buddy..."
Max: "Damn."
Knock: He just elbows me as I grin at Yu. "Don't encourage him."
Mom: She grabs the bag of chocolate chips and sets it in front of them. "Just focus on the cookies, you have to put your love into them or they wont taste good."
Evelyn: Mumbling as she grins over at us. "Yes ma..."
Max: Now Knock was rolling his eyes and the only thing I could do was wrap an arm around his waist and kiss his shoulder before whispering. "It's just a bit of innocent fun babe."
Knock: Whispering back. "I know..."
Do you though?
Do you really?
It took everything in me to not blurt that out because I didn't want to start a fight with him but I find him incredibly cute right now.
I can't wait to be officially moved into our home. It will be nice to live with just the three of us. No more Evelyn interruptions or plates of a million cookies.
Just us...
...
There was 3 new fresh batches of cookies sitting on the counter by the time Tong walked in and placed his bag on the kitchen table.
Tong: "I missed baking hour?"
Yu: He grabs a cookie and holds it up to him with a grin. "We just finished a few minutes ago, maybe we can cook some more once dad and Max say it's okay."
