CHAPTER 19
CLOUD WOKE UP and saw the Marquess sleeping beside him. A smile immediately appeared on his lips when he saw that the Marquess didn't moved him, not only that, the Marquess' hand was on his hair, that means he was caressing his hair before the Marquess fell asleep.
Cloud carefully flopped his elbow on the bed to have a better look at the sleeping Marquess.
If someone had told him before that a time will come that he'll find a man very sexy and handsome, Cloud would've laugh. But look at him now, ogling the sexy and handsome man in front of him.
Cloud shook his head, then he pressed his lips on the corner of the Marquess' mouth before carefully climbing off the bed to check on his crazy boss.
Nang makalabas siya ng kuwarto, kaagad na narinig niya ang komusyon na nangyayari. Kaagad niyang sinundan ang ingay at nakita niya ang walang malay na si Lady SM na buhat-buhat ng ama nito.
Then he saw his lord following SM's father towards a room but his lord didn't enter. The Count stayed outside and dropped himself on the floor, and hugged his knees.
Gustong lapitan ni Cloud ang boss. Gusto niya itong kausapin, pero kilala niya ang boss niya. When the Count was like this, it's better to leave him alone. So that's what Cloud did, but he remained close to his boss where he could see him and be with him if needed.
Napalagay lang si Cloud habang binabantayan ang boss niya ng makitang hinayaan ito ng ama ni Lady SM na pumasok sa loob ng kuwarto kung nasaan si Lady SM.
Akmang aalis siya sa kinatatayuan ng lumapit sa kaniya si Lord Keegan.
"Can we talk?"
It seems serious, so Cloud nodded immediately.
Iginiya siya ni Lord Keegan patungo sa isang opisina sa loob ng mansiyon. Cloud could tell that this office was owned by The Duke because of high-tech computers and other things.
"Sit." Anito sa kaniya sabay muwestra ng kamay sa sofa na naroon.
Kaagad naman siyang sumunod at umupo sa pang-isahang sofa, samantalang umupo naman si Lord Keegan sa mahabang sofa na nakaharap sa kaniya.
"You must be wondering why I want to speak with you." Panimula ni Lord Keegan sa seryosong boses. Gone the silly Duke that he met earlier.
Cloud nodded. "I'm waiting for the reason."
Duke Keegan sighed. "It's about the Marquess."
Cloud stilled but didn't say anything.
"I know how close you are." Ngumiti ang kaharap ng makahulugan. "I also know that you accidentally met him two weeks ago in a Restaurant — restroom to be exact. I also know that you called the Marquess using one of Lord Kelleon's body guards phone. I also know that he's special to you."
Cloud's lips thinned. "I'm waiting for the punchline."
Lord Keegan smiled. "You're not gonna like it."
"Try me."
The Duke nodded. "Okay. Here it is." From his pocket, the Duke pulled out a small remote-like object and pointed it at the large monitor just behind the long sofa. "This is the punchline."
The monitor showed Lord Jacques' photo, and then it moved to another one where he was talking to a man. Then another where he was talking to a group of people.
