Dear Rose,

Happy Valentine's Day.

You didn't wake up like I hoped, you didn't wake up at all.

We unplugged your life support.

Me and your family made a decision to give what was best for you.

And it wasn't on a cold hospital bed fighting for your life, and trying to wake up.

I'm sorry, Rose

I've been so selfish, I always thought we would be together until we grow old. I imagined we would get married and have at least two kids and a dog.

I always imagined we would grow old together and tell our grandchildren about our love story, but I guess that won't happen.

None of the promises we made to each other will ever happen.

I'm sorry for taking you for granted and I'm sorry for not loving you hard enough.

But I do love you, Rose
