POV

"Aurora John it's come to our attention that you are unemancipated minors living on your own" a social worker said John B scoffed and denied "no...no" he didn't sound very honest

"No." I said in a serious tone "guys I need honesty to help you that's what we both want right?" I sighed "yeah" JB said "we are being honest" I breathed

"Okay then when was the last time you spoke to your uncle John" he looked at his watch "uh thirty four minutes ago" she continued to write stuff down what she was writing I had no clue "the last time you saw him"

I put on my thinking face for a moment "two hours and forty three minutes ago" as soon as I said that she looked up at me "Aurora John we are gonna come out there tomorrow to talk to your uncle if he's not there we're gonna move forward with foster care"

"I want to assure you we're gonna find you a safe and loving home" they actually thought we were gonna be happy to hear that perfect the bride of Frankenstein threatening foster care

Luckily we caught a break we watched the TV as we saw that there was gonna be a hurricane "holy shit" JB said hurricane Agatha coming in the same day DCS was supposed to do our assessment

"Better call DCS" I chuckled putting my hand on his shoulder he dialed the number you could heard the sirens blaring from outside "uh yeah I think we are gonna have to reschedule"

(Time skip)

The wind roared as me my brother and jj ran to the beach with our boards "it's a double overhead out there bro" jb said to jj and Pope "double overhead?"

We stopped and looked at the waves the thunder was really loud and lightning struck "those aren't surf able waves bro" Pope said

I laughed "says who?" I started running and soon enough we were in the water I was surfing on the very cold water when I looked over to John B he looked like he saw something but what was gonna be out here in the middle of a hurricane

"What the hell?" Pope said sitting on his board next to me I shrugged and continued to surf

John Bs
POV

I woke up to the rooster crowing I tried to check my phone but no service went to the hallway and flipped a light switch no power great

I went into the living room and saw jj on one side of the couch and my sister a few inches away from him I smacked my sister on the back  causing her to smack jj he groaned in pain

"Yo JJ you been outside?" My sister groaned and turned her back to me "shut up John B!" She shouted but it was muffled "I have polio bro I can't walk" JJ answered I rolled my eyes and walked outside you could still hear the thunder rumbling in the distance

"Oh man" I yawned as I saw a tree collapsed "that's no good" I noticed that there was stuff inside of the boat "damn Agathas a bitch" my sisters voice came from behind me

I turned and saw her wearing a T-shirt and what looked like underwear "Rory go inside and put on pants" I said she rolled her eyes "I'm wearing shorts bro relax" I rolled my eyes "just help me with this"

We started pushing away branches off when JJ came out "Agatha did some work huh" he said "no shit JJ" my sister said "looking good in those shorts Rory" Rory just kept moving the branches "jj stop hitting on my sister and come help"
