Hermione woke up with a note beside her. “Follow the petals.” It said. She looked down and saw the petals that lead to the next room where Snape’s dining table was. Hermione walked through it. It was beautiful; she didn’t expect Severus to be so romantic. Is this how she will be treated by this man? She thought to herself, “Hey Granger, this man is the most romantic person you ever met in your life. Do not ever lose this man or you’ll really die inside.” What was she thinking; she wouldn’t even dare leave Severus.

She entered the other room, almost teary eyed when she saw Snape already dressed. But what struck her most was the room was filled with flowers. She loved it, the smell, the look and the ambiance that calms her soul.

“I guess I overslept.” said Hermione.

“No my Queen. you are just in time for dinner.” said Snape.

“Wow, this is beautiful Severus. I didn’t know you could do things like this.” Tears fell on Hermione’s face as she was coming closer to Severus for an embrace.

“You still have a lot to learn about me my dear Hermione. I can be full of surprises. The perks of being a mysterious man that is.”

Hermione was still looking at everything that Snape prepared for her. She couldn’t believe how Snape had changed over the years.

“Did you like it my Queen?” said Severus as he picked a rose and gave it to Hermione.

“Yes Severus I loved it, I loved everything. Thank you Severus.” Hermione hugged him tight and then kissed him on the cheeks.

“Let’s eat my dear.”

Both of them ate, it was so delicious that Hermione spoke up to share her appreciation.

“What spell did you use to these Sev?” asked Hermione.

“I didn’t do any spell Hermione.” said Snape. “I cooked it.”

“I never knew you cooked.” Said Hermione.

“Well not until now, I’ve been reading cooking books and practicing cooking, it’s just like potion making, mixing stuff you know and of course. I want to please my Queen. I want everything to be special between us.”

Hermione smiled. That was the sweetest gesture she had received from a guy. She didn’t expect it from Severus. It was like she changed him from bad to good.

“This looks yummy!” Hermione took a bite of the steak that was in her plate, it was mouth pouring. “Oh my Severus!” Hermione was out of words. It was the most delicious steak she had tasted in her entire life. “You could be a great chef my dear Severus.”

“That will only be for the both of us my Queen. I do not like cooking for others, only you.”

“That’s so sweet Severus, you should start eating too.”

“Yes my Queen, I am very hungry indeed.”

Hermione was very hungry too she felt her stomach rumble before she could even put the food on her mouth. She had forgotten that she wasn’t able to eat lunch today. Hermione remembered that Snape confronted her two bestfriends.

“So how was it? Did Ron get mad or anything?”

“No my Queen. He actually promised me not to tell anymore. If you just saw Ron’s disgusted face.” Snape bursted into laughter.

“He agreed? He did not get mad?”

“I explained to him that I will never ever hurt you or do anything to harm you.”
