What happened last night?
My fists are scarred and the kitchen is a mess this morning
The clock hand points to 7 and I wake up
Working busily like a saw
Laughing and chatting as a day goes by
After I’m done for the day, I get a call
My friend calls me out and I relieve my exhaustion with a drink
But at that place, I start to see you
The moon is in the sky, is it because alcohol is filling my body?
The balance in my body is on edge
My thumb keeps pressing your number
I try to press down this feeling
But I start to curse in a different voice
Trying to pick a fight with everything I see
With my feelings that are still there, I start talking to the picture in my wallet

I feel fine all day but then I keep thinking of you
Now I’m getting tired too, no more

When I lifted my head and opened my eyes, it was early morning
I want to sleep more but I take my tired body
In front of the mirror and I see a nauseous and imperfect body
Why am I like this? I tried to erase the bad memories
Tried to brush off the uneasy feeling as if I’m robbing a day
Tried to make any kind of plan as if I’m freed from your prison
With a relieved feeling, I go outside, thank you
I feel like it’s good that we broke up
But when the sun hides half way, the problem comes again
As if I’m not myself, as if I’m hypnotized
I felt like I was losing control so I kept talking about myself
Trying to turn away from it
But the darkness comes and another me comes into my head
I can’t let it go
