"I'm off to work now. Love you." Kita said as he gave you a forehead kiss, you smiled and waved, "Bye, love you too. Stay safe!"

"Will do!" He shouted as he closed the door.

You looked at your food as you sighed. It has been another day where Kita's busy with work. This has been going on for a few weeks now. You both barely had time to spend the day out together and go on dates. 

You guys started dating in the 3rd year of high school. It has been a long time. Both of you are now grown adults and married. Kita works as the CEO of his company.

You wanted to work too so you can help out with finances, but Kita insisted that you should just stay home. You of course, easily gave up since you know that whatever Kita says will be done in no time anyways.

"Now what am I gonna do?" you sighed once again.

"Bark!" you flinched as you looked over to your right.

You saw Zuko, yours and Kita's husky. You guys had him since he was 3 months old. Now, he's 5 years old, big and strong. You and Kita treated him as your own child.

"Oh, hi bud. Completely forgot you were there. I've just been stressed and lonely. Wanna go for a walk?" As soon as he heard his favorite word, walk. He started barking and hopping around as he hurriedly grabbed his leash and walked up to you.

"Bark bark!"

"Alright, alright. Just a second." you said to him as you quickly washed your dishes. After you were finished, you put on Zuko's leash on him and went to the doorway, you wore your beige cardigan and your sandals. Great thing you were wearing comfortable, yet decent clothes.

"Alright! Come on Ko, let's go for a walk!" you smiled and took his leash as you grabbed your keys and went outside of you and Kita's shared apartment.

You decided to take Zuko to the nearby park along the bay.

You sat at a bench as you gave Zuko his food. He always gets hungry whenever you guys go on walks, so you always have dog food on you.

"Hm.. must be nice, huh? Good thing you're enjoying this. I hope I feel the same way too. But too bad, you aren't enough I guess." you mumbled to yourself as you stared at the blue shining sea.

"Haa.. Kita.. I wish you didn't have to be working so hard right now." you lowered your head as your eyes started to sweat.

"Ahh, now's not the time to cry Y/N. You're in public. Stop.. stop b-being.. so.. w-weak.." you said to yourself but failed as tears started flowing down your cheeks.

Your hair was kind of covering your face and your head was low, so people didn't really notice your crying, as your sobs were also quiet.

Zuko then noticed you as he jumped up to the bench and sat by your side. He then started scratching your back, signing that he was there for you to cry on.

You looked at him slowly, as you hugged him and buried your head on his broad body, sobbing quietly. He understood that he shouldn't annoy you too much and just let you cry, so he just sat there and waited for you.

After a few minutes of crying, you finally calmed down as you wiped your tears with the back of your hands. Zuko noticed you and started giving you kisses.

"I- ah! S-stop Zuko!" you said and laughed. Zuko just barked at you.

"I know, i know. I'm alright now, thanks to you." you smiled and patted his head.
