Hermione POV

Hermione enjoys being Head Girl. Being able to take off house points to cheeky first years, having respect from teachers but that has been it so far. Nothing that requires much attention, which disappoints Hermione. But maybe something will come up in their next meeting, which is in fact this afternoon. Today it is just Draco and Hermione, but that is pretty normal. They only have all of the prefects and House teachers when something important is going to happen.

AFTER LESSONS

Hermione walks into Professor MacGonigall's office to begin the meeting, and finds Draco already there. Walking over to the chair next to Draco, she sits down. Professor McGonagall greets both of them and begins the meeting straight away.

"Now that the war is over, it is safe for the first years to visit Hogsmead. Although, as they are mostly new to Wizarding world, we will be taking them in small groups, with both of you and their house teacher. This weekend it is the Gryffindors turn so you will be taking them with me. The prefects will take the other Houses."

Draco frowns a bit at it being Gryffindors, not Slytherins, but doesn't object. It would be nice to actually use his title properly for once.

"So, back to the old Hogsmead," Draco speaks in a humorous way, a big surprise to Hermione. wow, he is actually being nice.

"Yeah, full of happy memories." After that, they both went into their own worlds of the past. Racing down the path towards the small wizarding town, a brunette girl, a redhead boy, and a small thirteen year old boy all race down. Smiles, and not a worry in the world. Joyful, young, children. A young blonde haired boy watches from a distance as this beautiful girl races down the snowy path. So young, so gorgeous.

The flashback finishes, and Draco is left in a dase. He was awe-struck at her beauty as a child. Not that he could ever admit it though, he would be murdered by his own kind. Purebloods. Unlike her, the filthy Mudblood.

Finally, Saturday has come! Hermione cheers inwardly. Time to go take some fresh meat. She chuckles as she remembered what the older Gryffindors had called them. So scary then, so funny now. Stepping out of her bedclothes and into her warm Winter wear, Hermione steps into her gorgeous boots. Just because she was intelligent doesn't mean she can't be stylish. Walking into her new 'living room', Hermione grabs her brown leather backpack, she begins to walk towards the painting when Draco walks into the room. In a emerald green v-neck, hermione could see his gorgeous toned chest, paired with some distressed jeans and a large coat, Draco looked set to walk the runway. Hang on. Where did that thought come from? Eww!
Shaking her head, Hermione greets Draco with a friendly hello. Hopefully their kind behaviour towards each other will last. I quite enjoy it...

Both Hermione and Draco walk togehter down to the Great Hall, chatting excitedly about taking the first years. "Fresh meat, ay? I will definatly have some fun with them!" Draco calls out, returned with a disapproving, yet cheerful scowl from Hermione.

"No, we will be looking after them like responsible heads we are."

"Yes ma'm!" Draco calls smartly to Hermione. As they both enter the great hall, they seperate and walk towards their house. Things were different now, though. They houses would mix, and already Hermione saw some Ravelclaws in the Gryffindor table. But she wasn't about to tell them off. She enjoyed how everyone were friends.

Sitting down at a spot next to her best friends, Hermione smiles at Ginny.

"Hey Ginny! I'm sorry but I can't go with you to Hagrid's, I am taking the first years to Hogsmead."

"First years to Hogsmeade? What do you mean?" Ginny inquires, confused.

"Now that the dangers of the War is over, it is safe for the first years to visit Hogsmeade. But because it is their first time, we are taking them." Hermione explained the situation.

After lunch, Hermione said goodbye to her group of friends and rounded up all the first year Gryffindors in the Great Hall.

"Come on, I thought we were supposed to be dong this together." A voice behind Hermione calls. As she turns around she sees Draco Malfoy standing there.

Professor McGonagall appeared and told them their instructions. "You are going to take them up to Hogsmeade, and they will have 3 hours there, so I expect them back by 11 o'clock. They are aloud to do a bit of wandering, as long as you guys are okay with that. Off you go!"

After that command, Hermione starts to head up the path, with Draco by her side, and the first years trailing behind them excitedly.

After walking around for a bit, Hermione and Draco decided that it  was time to let the little kids go off on their own.  Draco brought up the idea of going to the 3 Broomsticks, so off they went.

Sitting down at the bar, Hermione thought about how she was having fun. Draco wasn't all that evil. I mean, he is smart, kind, cute... No! Bad girl. Bad bad girl. You hate him! No. Hermione firmly stood up and went up to the counter to order two butter beers. She had to push the thoughts of Draco to the back of her mind, and enjoy the day, and her duties.

Draco POV

Hermione stood up from her chair and walked over to the bar. She looks cute when she's angry. Draco smirked, before realising he can't have those kind of thoughts. She hated him! He had to stop thinking about her and enjoy the rest of the day.
