Hermione stepped off the carrige and walked up the steps infront of the grand castle. While feeling calm and at home, she also felt upset and frustrated. Upset because she would have to do duties with Malfoy, but frustrated about her and Ron's friendship. How will it turn out? Will the golden trio fall to peices?

Hermione sat in the great hall with the rest of Gryffindor, but was all the different to what they remembered her as. She just sat there, comepletely zoned out of Professor Magonnigal. Ginny, who was seated right next to her sensed something was up.
"Hey, what's wrong, you seem... Distant."
"Huh? Oh... Just nervous. You know, being head girl and all..." She didn't want to talk to Ginny about her brother. At least, not yet.
Although still not convinced, Ginny nods her head and turns her head back to their Headmistress.

Later, after the feast, Draco walks out of the great hall towards Proffesor Magonnigal. They needed to get the password to the dorms.

As the blonde walks up to the staircase, he remembers the password Magonnigal gave them to access her office. Just as he was about to say it, a certain bushy haired brunette comes running up, crashing into the confused Slytherin. "Watch where you're going, Mudblood!"
Completely unfazed by the certain comment hit my way, I reply smartly with my own nickname. "Hello, ferret. Now if you don't mind, we must be getting to a meeting." Quickly mumbling 'snitch Phoenix' Hermione, with a confused Slytherin on her trail, walks briskly up the steps and into their Headmistress' office.

"Well, it looks like since you both are on time, this won't take long. Here are your patrol timetables, and your dorm room password is 'rasberry chocolate frog.' Now since you are sharing a dorm, you have a bathroom, obviously, but you will be sharing it. You also have a living room. Any questions?"
Before Draco could say anything, Hermione jumped in with a question.
"Hang on, we're sharing a dorm?!"
"Well, since the war, we had to renevate. And, with the returning students, we thought it would be nice to have a dorm for the heads. Anymore complaints about our arrangement?"
Scared by her wrath, the two heads shook their heads, and briskly walked to where the directions on their schedules took them. To their dorms.
