Chapter-5

Chaeyoungs P.O.V

I am lying on a bed and watching the ceiling fan above me. I am now in Miss Myoi's house cause it's raining heavily outside and we finished our work at 1 pm. She is a crazy workaholic. I thought after the boring work section, I will peacefully sleep but bcoz of this damn rain I have to stay here. And bonus I can't sleep on a new bed. I looked at the wall clock, it's almost 2 pm now.

It still raining and the rain sound is clearly heard. I stood up, went to the washroom, and splashed some water on my face. Wait a min! I saw a swing with a little roof in her front yard. Great! I can go there and maybe enjoy the rain.

I am sitting on the swing and looking at the raindrops falling on the ground. The smell of the soil is exotic and a gentle wind is touching me like a feather touch. My body getting relaxed and closed my eyes, sunk into the swing, resting my shoulders on the swing edge.

Mina's P.O.V

I heard some sound in the living room. I came out and saw Chaeyoung going outside. I wanted to call her but stopped. I wanted to know where she goes. I can't sleep bcoz of the fear of having the nightmare again. But why she is still awake?

I followed her and saw she is enjoying the rain while swinging. She was smiling and her this smiling face I haven't seen yet. Her this smile giving me weird feelings and unconsciously I am smiling too.

I went near to her and saw her eyes are closed. I was about to sit on the swing but her voice shocked me. How did she know I am here?

"Can't sleep?"

"H-How do you know I am here?"

"Your smell Miss Myoi.You smell like minty floral."She said looking at me and patted her beside to sit me. But I maintained my distance and sat with her. Did she notice my smell?

"Why can't you sleep? Miss Son? I thought you gonna sleep while working on the couch?"

"I thought the same but I can't sleep in the new bed. Now tell me yours."

"I-I can't sleep at the night."I don't know why I told her but I can't lie and sometimes I hate it.

"Huh? Why? Do you have the sleepless-"I cut her off?

"Ani...Nightmares."

"What kind of nightmares?Like to share? I am in all ears." She said with a soft smile on her face. I am staring into her eyes and she seems really concerned.

"Why do you want to hear?"

"Cuz I have gut feelings you are not like you want to show people. You are good but affection scares you. That's why you always try to be bitch."She said then she realized what she said in the last. She clicked her tongue with scared eyes."Ani...I don't mean-"I cut her off.

"No problem. I understood. But you have guts to same me bitch...Miss Son." I said as chucked and she joined me.

Then we both became silent and looking at the rain. But she broke the silence.

"Miss Myoi, your past still bothers you?right?" She said as I looked at her with wide eyes. How does she know? She wasn't looking at me, still looking at the rain peacefully.

"H-How does-" she cut me off.

"It's not rocket science. The way you smile, The way you are with me right now...everything makes clear that you are a nice person but badly hurt and tries to find peace in hurting others. But you can't be happy Miss Myoi..." She finally looks at me And continues, "Cuz You are not a bad person."

I was looking at her dumbfounded. Can she read my mind? How can she read me so easily? And I am still not a bad person to her? How!

"But I have done a lot worse things to you. I should be a bad person to you."I said as bit my lower lip to control my emotions. I don't know why but I want to cry right now. Her worlds somehow touched me inside.No one understood me like her. What is she?

"As I told you. My gut feels."She said with a smirk on her face.

"Th-Thank Y-You for Understanding m-me," I said but my voice cracked and tears started falling without even knowing.

"Are you crying?" She asked me as she came near to me. I said nothing, just let my tears fall. But her next move made me shocked.

She wrapped her hands around my shoulder and pressed her body on me. She is hugging me.

"Hey! Don't cry. I am here with you. You can share with me anything. You can trust me, ok?" She said as she patting my back and caressing my hair. I hugged her back and sobbing silently. I never showed my broken side to anyone but she is different. And her touch didn't give me painful flashbacks. Her touch is not like others, not causing burning my skin or making me push her away.

Her warm hug making me feel safe and her strawberry scent making me calm.

A/N: Aish!!! I need a moment on a rainy night like them!!! Btw I need someone in my life first!!!!!
