It's 4 pm.....
"Jagiya...Are you ready? I am waiting for you outside." I said as I peeping outside of my car window, looking at her door.
"Chae...Give me 5 mins. I am coming. ok?"
"Ok. Take your time. I am here." I said as I ended the call. I came out of my car and Iaid my back on my car door. My heart is beating fast cuz I am feeling so nervous. I never did something like romantic date planning before. It's a kinda boy thing so Mingyu used to do for us. But today it's not even A normal date, it is also Mina's Birthday. I want to make today's day memorable.
But what if she doesn't like my idea? What if- My thoughts interrupted when I heard her hollering my name.
"Hey! Chae!" She waved smiling at me as she was coming closer and I waved her back mirroring her sweet smile. She is looking like an angel. My Angel!
"Did you wait too long?" She asked me guiltily.
"Ani...My love. And you are looking like an angel. So beautiful." I said and she blushed. Owu! I like seeing her blushing. So cute!
"Than-Thank you. You are also looking cute, Chae," she said.
In return, I cupped her face, gave a peck on her lip, and said, "Thanks and This is for being so cute and lovely."
She turned into crimson and nodded shyly. I opened the car door for her and she said, "Thank you." Then I get into the car, started the engine, intertwined our hands, and hollered, "Let's go!"

"Where are we going, Chae? Are you sure about the root?" Mina asked nervously while looking out through the car window. I placed my left hand on her thigh as I was controlling the car wheel with my right hand and said, "Don't you believe me? Minari..."
She placed her hand on my hand while looking at me, "I trust you more than myself, Chae. I am just curious."
I am taking her to my secret hangout place. It's a calm beautiful lake surrounding by trees. Because of the trees, it's still safe from people.
After a long 1 hour journey, we finally came to our destination. I parked our car beside the Woods and Looked at Mina who seems amazed by the place.
"We reached our destination, Love. Maybe you already started liking the place?huh?"
"Yeah, Chae. This place is so beautiful and how did you find this place?"
"When I was in high school, for a biology project we needed to collect various kinds of leaves. So an Unnie suggested me this place. Oneday she brought me here and even helped me with the project."
She nodded in understanding and we both went out of the car. I took out a big-sized picnic basket, peeped into the basket to see the cake is safe or not. Luckily the cake is in good condition.
"What are you doing Chae?"
"M-Me...Taking out the bad-basket." Damn! Too close to get me with the cake.
"Wow! When you prepared things?"
"It's magic." I said as I made a magician gesture with my finger and we both chucked."Now follow me, ok?" And she nodded.
After a few minutes' walk, we came in front of the Lake. It's so beautiful and calm. I looked at Mina who was mesmerized by the beauty of nature. It may be her first time interacting with this type of atmosphere. I am happy that she is enjoying it.
"Chae?"
"Hum.."
"Can I sit on the rock there? I want to dip my legs into the water." She asked while pouting. Aish! Why she is so cute?
I gave a peck on her pout and nodded. She showed her gummy smile, literally giving me a mini heart attack, and went there.
I started arranging the blanket on the grass and took out some food and a red wine bottle. Then took out the cake and placed it behind the bucket.
"Do you need Help, Chae??!!" Mina hollered.
"Ani...I have already done it. Now come here." I hollered back and saw her coming towards me. My heart is beating cuz Now I gonna wish her a happy birthday. I hope just I won't ruin her mood.
She sat in front of me while smiling and saw the food in front of us. Most of them I made by my hand.
"Did you made all of this? Chae?" She asked shockingly. I nodded shyly.
"You took today's date seriously, r8 Chae?"
"Ye-Yeah. Actually, I wanted to make today memorable for you." Then I took the cake behind the bucket and placed it in front of her and said, "Happy Birthday, My Love."
She looked at the cake then looked at me. I can see her tears are building. She was about to say something but I cut off her but pulled her into my embrace. I can feel her body became stiff and she wasn't hugging me back. So I started caressing her back and started saying, "Minari...I know you don't want to celebrate this day cuz today is your ex marriage day. But you can't keep holding it. You need to move on. So I want to help you. I want to make memorable moments with you. I want to help you to forget your past, love. Please help me."
I felt her body became soft and her arms wrapping around my nape. I hugged her more tightly and she buried her face into my neck as she started sobbing silently. But today I will just let her. I know seeing her crying hurts me but she needs to relieve her pain.
