Chapter 2: Genin exam

Andoru's POV
Once Iruka and all the passed out kids woke up the Genin exam started. In theory it was too easy. All that was required was to throw and hit at least six shuriken and six kunai on a target for a passing score, then we'd be tested on our taijutsu in a one on one spar against a class mate. Finally we would have to perform a kawarimi, a henge "But I thought that's what we just did." I thought to myself. And to end it all a bunshin.

With that we started the exam. On my throwing test I managed to land all my kunai and shuriken on the target giving me the best score anyone could have gotten.

After me in second place was Sasuke who landed all ten shuriken and nine of his kunai on the target.

And the dead last of all this was Naruto who nearly killed Iruka sensei with his aim only pinning him to a tree with his kunai. With his shuriken though he did do better while only one hit the target all the others barely missed.

In the taijutsu spar I was up against Sasuke who was not happy he came in second on our throwing test. When he stepped into the ring he told me, "You should give up your going up against an Uchiha."

"Pass." I tell him "I'm about to prove you don't need to use a family kekkei genkai just to win a fight."

"Hatchling you aren't going to use THAT are you?" Kyofu asked.

"Only if I have to though I'd rather keep it secret cause once my pretty eyes are out I'll have the one thing that scares Sasuke, fangirls." I tell him.

"You done spacing out dobe cause I'm coming at you with everything I've got." With that he sent a kick towards me. My taijutsu style relies on avoiding then attacking after avoiding an attack or using my opponents momentum to my advantage.

Moving to the side to avoid Sasuke's kick then grabbing the leg he tried kicking me with I flipped him over onto the ground where he landed on his back. Taking advantage of the momentary stun Sasuke's in I land a hit on his leg so even if he gets up it'll be with a limp. Sasuke then does something that surprises everyone he puts up the sign of surrender, the three middle middle fingers up.

"Andoru Mun-en, winner says Iruka."
The rest of the exam went by and we're now working on our two passing jutsu (AN henge was done last chapter.)

"Hey Naruto I'm going to help you with your problem on the bunshin so use the kagebunshin." I tell him showing the handseal to him. Naruto just gives me a thumbs up with his classic fox grin.

"Will Uzumaki Naruto come in." says Mizuki sensei.

"I know you don't trust him hatchling neither can I but just wait. He'll eventually show his true colors." Kyofu tells me.

"I know kyofu it's just that the disloyalty coming off from him sickens me." I tell him.

"You pass." I hear Iruka tell Naruto happily. "Well it seems he finally passed." I think to myself. For the past months it's been his goal to make a bunshin and while not being completely fulfilled kagebunshin is still a bunshin only improved.

I see Naruto come out wearing his
hitai-atte proudly on his forehead.
I then hear Iruka sensei say,"Will Mun-en Andoru come in. "Once in sensei asks,"Will you kawarimi with me." That I did. "Good now will you perform any kind of bunshin." I decide to use the bunshin that I'm able to use thanks to my doujutsu. "Yoru bunshin." and with that five clones appeared.

"Congratulations, Genin of konoha." Says Iruka sensei grabbing a dark blue
hitai-atte (AN standard color given but Andoru is not a standard character.) with a silver border color. "This one seems to suit you."

"I like it." I tell him back.

"Well then consider yourself lucky. It's the first and only one that's been made like that." Iruka says. (AN is no longer their sensei but comrade.)

I then tie the hitai-atte around my neck and walk out the room.

"Class" Iruka says, "Today you don't leave as my students but as shinobi and kunochi of konoha. Protect this village with your life. Now moving on. I do believe it's time to announce the rookie of the year!" All eyes seem to move to Sasuke who has an arrogant smirk on his face. It brings great pride to me because even without parents he's come this far. The rookie of the year is Andoru Mun-en!" With that the class exploded into whistles and clapping.

"I did it..."

"Of course you did hatchling and you deserve it." said kyofu.

(AN Andoru is more or less based off of me. I gave him my middle name Andoru which just means Andrew. If you want to know my full name... well I guess you'll just have to try right. The other thing I gave Andoru was my personality and way of thinking. In particular my sense of humor when he henged into kyuubi. I also blended some of my personality into kyofu though it's mainly his perverseness. That does NOT mean I'm a complete perve I'm still a human with emotions. I mean what boy could have gone through that.
