Broken Birthday

[(Y/N) POV]

You woke up alone on the sofa. George and Clay must have gone to bed after the movie was over. You picked your phone up from the floor and saw that the clock was 7.24 am. An hour until school started. You went up to your room and took some clothes and took a shower.you put on the clothes and went down to the kitchen. George stood there and made breakfast.

"Hi!"

"Hi!" I smiled at him.

"Does Clay still sleep?"

"Yeah."

"What are you making?"

"Bacon and eggs, do you want some?"

"No thanks, I have to get to school." You gave him an annoying look.

"You can at least take some with you. You haven't eaten in a while."

"I ate yesterday!"

"Really you see that plate on the table it's yours. You ate one nugget!

"So I wasn't hungry, you asked me when I was sleeping."

"Well fine, but I'm taking you out to eat after school."

"Okay. Well I'm gonna be late. Say hi to Clay from me."

"Okay bye."

"Bye love you!" You stepped out of the door and closed it. You walked to school and missed five minutes of the first period but you could care less. You sat down in math and did what you needed. You had great grades even though you didn't try. You weren't bad in any subject but it was so boring so you just did what you needed and then went on your phone or computer. When math was over you went over to your looker and found a letter in it.

Lily was one of your best friends and has alway been. You smiled to yourself, just a simple little note lightened your day. The first happy birthday wish today, instead of getting into an argument about what you have eaten and not. You know that he just cared for you but saying everyday is not gonna help.

The day went on and it was now lunch. You sat down in the normal spot and waited for lily. After a few minutes on your phone you felt a pair of hands covering your eyes. You lightly jumped. I knew it was Lily just by her voice and light touch.

"Oh sorry didn't mean to scare you! but you need to come with me"

"It's okay, but why?"
"It's a surprise."

You laughed and just followed trying not to fall. After a while we got into a room and you heard the door close. She slowly took her hands off your face. you still have my eyes closed.

"You can open your eyes!" She laughed. you slowly opened one of your eyes and then jumped by everyone saying.

"Happy birthday Y/n!"

"AWW guys you didn't need to do this for me!"

"But we wanted to!" You giggled and got saten down with a birthday hat on your head. A girl came up with a cake for me and then the rest of the class tok some. Then Lily stood up and stood up at the front of the class.

"So Y/n while you're eating cake and having fun I'm gonna deliver a speech." You covered your face in embarrassment.

"Y/n you are my best friend and I love you but i think we all know that you will drop out of school now that you are 18 years old." You laughed.
