- August POV

"Our last couple of rehearsals went amazing, can't wait for the show tonight." Chris stated as he chugged down a bottle of water.

"I know mane, show finna be lit outchea." I said relaxing onstage.

"Daddy, I wanna be onstage too. See?" Kayden said before copying some of Chris's dance moves. She was horrible at dancing...just like myself.

"Next time KayKay, I promise." Chris said picking her up. "The backup dancers are entering now, you wanna watch?" He asked me and Kayden.

We took our seats in the front row of the stage as the dancers came out, there was one that stood out to me. Her light brown skin was flawless, her long hair stopped in the middle of back. She was definitely above beautiful. My thoughts were stopped when Kayden hit me in my chest.

"Staring is rude, daddy." She whispered into my ear as I nodded my head.

"Which one of you is the leader?" Chris asked and we started to pay attention again.

"Hi, Mr. Brown. I'm Whitney." The woman that I have my eye on spoke with a light California accent.

"Call me Chris and I hope your crew is ready for tonight." He stated

"More ready than ever...Chris." She answered confidentiality before the song "Don't Kill The Fun" by Sevyn ft. Chris Brown played through the speakers.

The way her body moved was breathtaking, it was like she made the world stop spinning to only focus on her. They went over plenty of songs including: "Only" by Nicki Minaj ft. Drake, Lil Wayne & Chris, "Ayo" by Chris & Tyga, "X" by Chris. They even did some of my songs: "Slow Motion", "Get Yah Money" & "Porn Star".

"Dress rehearsal is at 5:00, doors open at 7:00 and the show official starts at 8:00. We expect each and every one of you here at 5." Chris's manager Victoria spoke into a microphone. Us and the other dancers began to leave, I look back to see Whitney still going over the different routines.

"Aye, beautiful!" I called out once Kayden and Chris had left and it was just us. She stopped in the middle of "Don't Judge Me" and looked up. "Yah'll be amazing outhea." I smirked as she blushed focusing back into her dancing and I left.

"Daddy where were yah?" Kayden asked as we went across the parking lot to my Range Rover.

"I forgot my phone." I lied through my teeth, my gold and black IPhone was in my pocket the whole time. "You need to get yah bags ready for CJ's and Chayla's house tonight." I stated and saw the frown on her face in the rearview mirror. "What's wrong, pumpkin?"

"Ion wanna go over there, I wanna see the show." She said pointing back at the stadium.

"No Kayden, we went over this. It's too late for yah to watch daddy perform, plus it'd be rude to cancel plans." I said as she was quiet for awhile, it wasn't until I looked in rearview mirror again I saw her crying softly. I lean one arm back to rub her leg. "What's so bad about their house, Kayden? Lately you don't like being over there. Did something happen the last time?" I asked remembering the night she called me from their house phone to pick her up at 2㏂

"Something happens when I'm not there." She said and I didn't understand what that meant. "Chayla and CJ have dark marks on their bodies. Chayla says that a bad guy touches her in a wrong way. CJ says the same bad guy hits them all the time. Ion know what to do, I wanna help them daddy." She cried and cried in the backseat. I pull over into a gas station and go to the back with her and simply hold her tight in my arms.

"It's gonna be okay, Kayden. I'll let to stay at your grandma's tonight, no bad guys at grandma's." I say trying to hold back tears of when I almost put my hands on Faith.
