Story:
Y/n Pov: August 25th
When I found out about a week ago that Charlie was coming home for his birthday I was elated. So elated that I immediately started to plan out my childhood best friend's birthday gift. Now I'm just putting on some of the finishing touches before I go pick him up from the airport.

I grab the last few pictures that I just printed and smile as I look though all the memories of our childhood. After I made sure none of the pictures had smudged or anything, I started to glue them into the book I bought. When the last picture is glued down I smile at my work before my phone starts to ring.

I rush over to where it sits on my side table and grin when I see his face on my screen. I giggle at the crazy picture taken years ago.

"Hello? May I ask who is calling me?" I say in a fake confused tone as I pretend it's not him.

"Oh! You know who it is..." he says and I giggle.

"Do I, now?" I ask and he chuckles.

"Fine, then, I guess I'll call Patrick or someone else to pick me up then..." he teases and I scoff.

"Umm, no. I'm definitely coming to get you," I say as I put on my shoes and grab my keys.

"You shouldn't be going and getting strangers, Dana," he says, using an old nickname he gave me.

~Flash Back~
Little nine year old me and ten year old Charlie lay on the couch watching our all time favorite movie, Ghostbusters.

"Hey kids, you doing ok out here?" his mom Jeanette says as she comes out from the kitchen where she was making dinner.

"Yeah, we're fine, moooom!" Charlie calls out and I giggle as he rolls his eyes at her.

"Charles, do not roll your eyes at me!" she says from the kitchen and his eyes widen.

"How do moms know everything...?" he whispers to me and I giggle.

"She's a mom. It's her job," little nine-year-old me says with a shrug.

"Oh! Oh! Look, it's Dana!" Charlie says, jumping up on the couch.

"Charlie, what have we said about jumping on the couch! You're ten! You are too big to be jumping on the couch!" His mom says once again from the kitchen.

"Ugghh. Fine," he says as he plops back down into his original spot as I giggle.

"Why do you like Dana so much? She gets possessed, ya know..." I say and Charlie shrugs.

"Ya know.... You're like my Dana...." he says and I cross my arms.

"How in the world do you see me as Dana....?" I say and little Charlie laughs.

"I mean you're pretty like her, dummy!" Charlie says and even then little nine year old me blushed.

"Ok, then that would make you Peter!" I say and Charlie shrugs.

"Works for me. Peter's cool, man!" Charlie says and I only giggle more.

"Just shut up and watch the movie," I say and Charlie laughs before plopping down on top of me.
