Episode 3: Flying Solo

Julie stands still on the stage as she looks out to the crowd that formed before. The crowd of students just stare up at her and after a while another student runs up onto the stage.

"Hey. Where'd the rest of the band go?" The student asks as he looks at Julie.

"Wait! Were those holograms?" The purple haired girl from Dirty Candy asks and the pink haired girl gives her a glare.

"Yes! Yes, they were holograms!" Julie says as she turns from the boys and back to the crowd before her.

"I plugged it into the ceiling projector before the show," Julie continues as she points to the projector that she's talking about.

"I'd explain it, but it involves algorithms and science stuff," Julie says and the crowd before her starts to cheer.

Luke, Alex and Reggie stand off to the side and just watch.

"That's wild. They could see us when we were playing, but not when the music ended. I wonder what y/n would think about this?" Luke says as he does his little signature bounce and moves his hands around.

"She'd definitely be like you Luke and think it's cool," Alex says with a light frown on his face that soon turns into an annoyed look.

"We should double check," Reggie says as he points at Luke then jogs past them and up some of the stairs.

Once at the top of the stairs Reggie lifts his flannel and wiggles his hips in a circular movement, shaking his butt at the crowd.

"Yeah I don't..." Reggie says as he starts back down the stairs when no one says anything.

"I don't think they can see us," Reggie says as he now comes back to be next to Luke.

"I wish I couldn't see you........" Alex says in a very annoyed and weirded out tone which makes Luke look at him.

"Ok, people, show's over. Let's get back to class, please," the lady in all black says as she turns around to the crowd of students.

All the students start to break up and leave the school gym.

"What was that? Were those holograms?!" Carrie says to the purple haired girl from her band.

"I'm sorry...." the purple haired girl says as she only tries to defend herself.

"Hey there. I'm Reggie...." Reggie says as he stands right next to the purple girl and tries to flirt with her, but she still can't see or hear him.

"What even is that?! What was that?!" Carrie says, still angry.

"Could I maybe call you sometime? What's your number?" Reggie says still trying to flirt with her as he follows her and Carrie, but again he gets nowhere.
