Chapter 71

You both went inside a cafe nearby as the four of you sat down in a table facing each other.

You held her hand as she smiles weakly at you. tae on the other hand was diverting the child attention to the both of you playing with the kid.

You smiled how endearing taehyung is like to kids. "Excuse us" he said taking the 4 year old kid with her to the kiddy playground as the both of you nodded.

"Unnie-" you said. "I know let me explain" she smiled holding your hand. You face went blank as she started to explain her story.

Flashback of y/n's sister

"ani aniyrago jebal (no, no pls)" i beg him but he didn't listen and slapped me and hit me with a vase in the head as i blacked out.

It has been 3 days since he lock me inside my room. i tried many things to call help but nothing succeeded. i was beaten up, held being starve like an animal waiting for a vulture to eat my corpse as i die.

tears started to fall endlessly as i wanted to get out of this hell. "eomma, y/n-ah please help me" i cried sitting alone in my bedroom.

i cried myself to sleep as always to wake up getting a puffy face. i was awaken by a splash of water in my face. "Wake up you brat and cook for me" my ex boyfriend said who i had left for being a toxic and abusive he is towards me.

I had enough one day but he was crazy until i had to take a restraining order for him. this is the third time and took me to his apartment.

I did as what he told and prepared his food as he slouches himself in the couch watching tv. "hurry up!" he shouted as i flinch and accidently cut myself with the knife.

"h-hold on" i stammered taking s piece of bread inside my shirt and brought the tray of food to him. he propped himself and ate at the coffee table as he push me. After he ate he left the apartment locking me back at my room.

That night i woke up with a sound of slamming the door as i flinched and stood up immidiately hearing the keys from the door as it open seeing my ex fuming with rage.

He pinned me down to bed as he tried to strip me down my clothes. i fought back with all my strength and kicked his balls as he grunted in pain an ran. he manage to grab my hair while i was
running to the living room.

"I wont let you get away!" he yelled and pin me back ground as he grab my neck and started choking me. i couldn't breath, i felt helpless and accepted the faith that i will die here.

a little voice called out as she reached her hand towards you.

it was the toddler y/n smiling preciously at me. "Unnie come home please" she pouted. tears of hope rolled down my cheeks as i gave my last strength taking the hammer on the side and hit him as he fell down the ground.

She gasp of air holding her neck. slowly stood up and ran on bare feet looking for help. as she went out the building many people saw her and called immidiately for help.

The ambulance and police came with his ex cuffs on his hands. "Yah let me go im her boyfriend, dont you know im known to be son of a good businessman yah!" he shouted at the police as they shove him inside the police car.

"Ma'am is there anyone who wanted to contact family, friends?" the nurse ask handing the cellphone as she shakingly took it. she was about to call your number but resisted and called her friend instead, she couldn't let you and her mother know what is her situation by now.

after a few days i break every contact i had to protect my self first even if it means not letting my family know where i am. i went to my apartment and sold it, i called my closest friend who is a single parent if i could get to live with them which she happily agreed to.

i went to my job and resigned after and hid away from this place. i wanted to start a new life but i so hoped that one day i get to see my family sooner when i am ready....

Tears of relief was rolling in minji's eyes as they day she wished finally came. you went beside her giving her a comforting embrace of what your sister had been through.

"Unnie, it's all gonna be fine now" you smiled rubbing her back. "i wont go anywhere now" she chuckled. taehyung was smiling ear to ear seeing the sister hug in their longing of each others presence warmed his heart from afar playing with the kid. you pulled away and took your phone to call your mother.

"Its time that i won't lie about you to eomma anymore" you smiled as you dialed your moms number. she took the phone exhailing her breath as she held it in her ear.

"Yeoboseo?" your mothers voice sweetly called. "Eomma naya minji (it's me minji)" she chuckled wiping her cheeks. "Yah why did you just call now , where have you been" your mother boomed a lot of questions as she cried on the other line.

You left her for a time in the table as you went to taehyung playing with the kid. "Is everything ok?" he smiled.
"Everything is better now" you smiled as he gives in for a hug.

After that night taehyung went of to leave as you said your too. your sister was asking if have a place to stay which you nodded.

After a few days you and your sister are having a great time at each other catching up and bonded with bora who was her friends daughter.

"i have some news" minji said as she put bora on her lap on the bench at the park you are roaming.

"Deh what is it" you asked.

"Im going home"

she smiled holding your hand, your heart was jumping up and down at excitement. "Your going back to busan?" you cleared as she nodded.
you were very happy that she is going back to your hometown.

"I wanted to go with you but you know i still have a lot to do here" you said with a disappointed look.

"Do not worry about that , im sure you will get to visit mom" she enlightened the mood giving bora to you.

"Hello there sweetie, do you like the candy i bought?" you ask as the little girl giggled at you.
