Thursday dawned dark and stormy and Arthit knew he had no time for breakfast. Kongpob had woken him urgently with butterfly kisses that tickled his skin.

"You better go quickly, Phi. The storm's due to last all morning."

It didn't occur to him, as he huddled on the moto-taxi in his rain jacket, rivulets of water running down his chin, that Kongpob wouldn't let the early start and the storm stop him from feeding his Phi.

He'd had a quick breakfast from the coffee stall at work and of course a pink milk, so he was feeling fine by mid-morning. The storm had ended and everyone was working hard to get through as many orders as possible to try and avoid working at the weekend.

Arthit especially wanted Saturday off since he'd worked the previous one and Kongpob had mentioned a possible cinema date which he was really keen to do. So he was knee deep in files when Som-O started to swoon over someone at the door to Procurement. Arthit didn't bother looking up, aware that it would only distract him, but when he heard his own name from a familiar voice, he couldn't help it, catching Kongpob's eye.

"Oi, Kong! What are you doing here?" He stood and went to his boyfriend, brushing his knuckles over the back of Kong's hand, "I thought you had class today?"

Kongpob gave him his most beautiful smile and beside them Som-O looked between them, "Darn it, why did you two find each other first, I never meet anyone as attractive as you!"

Kongpob laughed and waied to her, "Oh P'Som-O, don't say that! You'll find your match one day for sure."

Secretly, Arthit was unsure if Kong was right, the secretary could be rather abrasive and after all the drama with P'John, people were quite nervous around her.

Indeed, the way she was looking at Kongpob while Arthit was standing right there was not okay with him.

"Shall we?" He gestured to his desk, but Kongpob shook his head and motioned out of the room.

"Can we go to the break room, Phi?"

They sat at the small table and Kongpob placed his rucksack onto it, "I brought you lunch!"

He sounded so proud that Arthit tried to school his reaction, wondering what exactly was in the bag and how it was going to damage his digestive system today. "That's great," he said, trying to sound like it actually was.

Kongpob smiled and brought out a clear box with yellow omelet rolls inside, "For you!"

There was a moment of fear, when Arthit didn't want to open the box because he was scared about what they would smell or taste like, but he forced himself to put out a trembling hand and pull off the lid.

"A drink?!" Arthit said, leaping to his feet and going to the fridge, before he had to take one of the possibly poisonous rolls from the box. At least if it was terrible (and he had learned rapidly that it probably would be) he'd have something to wash it down with.

Kongpob asked for a juice and then reached for chopsticks and made the lid of the box into a plate. "Here," he said, holding a roll of omelet to Arthit's mouth as he sat back down.

Arthit gave the eggs a distrustful look and then opened his mouth, hand gripping his glass ready to choke it down.

To his surprise, it tasted good.

He chewed experimentally and had no trouble swallowing, "Wow!" He said, enjoying the way Kongpob smiled at him, as Arthit reached for his own chopsticks and brought another one to his mouth.

He'd eaten four, telling Kongpob how delicious they were in between bites, when he realised that Kongpob's grin had faded and his boyfriend was looking quite put out.

"What's up?" He asked as he put his chopsticks down and reached across for Kong's hand, "Why do you look like you've just failed an exam?"

Kongpob ducked his head and whispered, "They're not mine."

"Huh?"

Kong's fingers slid between Arthit's and he squeezed them firmly, "I wanted to make them, Phi! But of course, I tried and they were a disaster! And I didn't want you to go hungry, so.. I asked the auntie to make them.. at that stall we like? I didn't want you to know, so I put them in this box and pretended they were mine. I'm sorry, Phi!"

"Oh, Kong! You are so.."

"Horrible? Terrible at cooking? A liar?"

"Wonderful!" Arthit interrupted and squeezed his hand again, "And I love you so much for it!"

"Really, Phi? I thought you'd be mad at me!"

Arthit frowned and tugged him out of his seat, rounding the table and hugging him close, "Never, Kong. Look, if you want to learn to make omelets so badly, let me teach you?"

"Really?"

"Yes! But.. let's save it for Saturday when I've got time?"

"Phi!"

Arthit stepped back, aware that he was at work and even though everyone knew about Kongpob, it would be unprofessional to be caught hugging him in the break room (even if it brought back interesting memories of their time in this room almost a year before!)

"Tomorrow, I will take you to auntie's for breakfast and you can watch her make it, okay? And Saturday, we will wake up together and I will teach you, okay?"

Kongpob looked from Arthit to the door and then darted down to kiss his cheek, "Kongpob!"

His boyfriend just laughed, sounding happy and free making Arthit's heart soar with joy, then he grabbed his bag from the table and squeezed Arthit's hand one last time, "See you later?"

"Okay. Now, shoo. If I'm teaching you on Saturday, I need to finish my work today."

"Thank you Phi," Kong dropped his voice, "I love you."

"Love you too."
