Beastboy's POV

No worries. No thoughts. I grinned cheekily, pulling back my wavy green hair. Pulling up a pair of black sunglasses, I snapped my fingers at my reflection, winking. In a slightly more feminine voice, I mocked a swoon. "Oh, yes Gar! You are even sexier than you were before you left!" Clearing my voice, I responded in a manly voice. "I know." I said with a smirk.

"Can you stop flattering yourself?" I looked up to see Cyborg laughing. He was at our door way. it was hard to believe that our mission against Brother Blood was almost done and we had time to chill out in a tiki hut on the beach.

Grinning, I stared at him through the mirror. "Jealous?" I asked, his comment not phasing me at all.

"Of what? A little green dude with pointy ears?" Cyborg teased. I rolled my eyes behind the glasses. I could have said so many things, but I dropped it.

Finally drawing my eyes away from the mirror, I walked over to my suitcase on my bed. Making sure all of my clothes were packed, I looked up at Cyborg. "How many days of this trip are left?"

"Six days." Cyborg said it quickly as if he had memorized that date.

Groaning, I picked up my suitcase, dragging it across the floors because Robin just had to insist that rolling suitcases were "too easy for superheros". Truthfully I didn't give a s...s... starburst if a rolling suitcase would let us relax. In all, I'd want it to.

"You miss her don't you?" My eyes lifted up from the suitcase.

"Why'd you ask?" I interrogated, not letting him know I did.

"Did you miss the whole last five minutes? I walked in on you doing a pretty terrible Raven impersonation." Cyborg laughed, walking over, and ruffling my hair.

I swatted his hands away. "Haha. Very funny. Now let's go out and get some pizza." I offered. Cyborg picked up my suitcase and his own without hassle heading out the door. I followed him, locking the door for the tiki hut.

"After we return the room key." Cyborg agreed, motioning me to follow him. Doing just that, I tracked up the beach with him. We past multiple huts on the way to the main building at the other side of the sand.

In a sprint because I was frankly hungry and wanted food, I made it to the building before Cyborg did. Dropping off the keys, I looked up at the owner.

"Leaving so quickly green-skinned child?" The older man asked. "Why so?"

I stared blankly at him because for the past few days he had home cleaning leaving towels for "that green-skinned boy and the older metallic boy".

"Yep." I didn't want to - in fact, I wasn't entitled to tell him why we left so early. But just to grind his gears, I said it anyway. "I left because clearly, I wanted to stay at a better hotel." Dropping the keys on his desk, I headed out. "Won't miss ya, baldie."

Out of the corner of my eye I saw him placing his hands on his bald, shinny head. I couldn't help but laugh.

Looking down at my crappy phone, I felt it vibrating. One new message.

Walking outside to Cyborg, I flipped the phone open, scrolling through my inbox.

Message from Raven<3

Grinning widely, I opened it to see what it was.

Raven<3:  What is Cyborg's favorite food?

Narrowing my eyes, I couldn't help but feel a little rejected. We hadn't talked at all today, but when we did... the first thing she asked about was Cyborg? Not even a hello?

Reluctantly, I replied.

Me: Pizza. Hotdogs. Hamburgers. Fries.  Why don't you ask him next time?!

Raven<3: Gheesh. Calm down. We're just planning his party.

Feeling like a jerk, I let out a long sigh. I had totally forgotten about my BEST FRIEND'S birthday. And I snapepd at my girlfriend just because she asked a question.

Me: Sorry. And that's good. Cy and I just checked out of the Hawaii Hotel.

No response. I kept on looking at my phone as Cyborg talked about something stupid while we made it to the car. Groaning, I turned the power of my phone after sending one last text.

Me: Luv u <3
