                             -Tallula-

"I love you too", I replied with a small wave to Saf. I unlocked my front door and made my way into my house. The noises coming from my living room made me change direction and continue down the hall. Sat on his ass with his smelly feet on the table, my brother chatted away with his friends through his PS4 party.

"Get your fucking feet down", I said as I grimaced thinking of all the meals I've placed on that very spot. He turned his dark eyes towards me before rolling them and continuing, seemingly to have not heard me. I fucking hate annoying ass teenage boys. Ugh.

I stomped towards him and kicked his feet off the table and grabbed his headset from his face. "Bro when I'm talking, you listen, yes?" I question, looking down at him.

"Oh my godddddd" he huffed trying to snatch the headset back. "Can you stop being so annoying lu"

It was my turn to roll my eyes as I simply looked down at him.

"Okay okay, I'm listening," he said moments later adjusting himself to sit properly on the couch.

I handed him back his headset and sat beside him.

"How was school then?" I questioned, genuinely interested in the life of my little brother. He was two years younger than me, being only 14, and had recently moved to my school.

He turned towards me, with the corners of his lips slightly lifting, before turning back towards the screen.

"Yeah it was calm", I thought he was going to end the conversation there until he continued with "I met my mentor today, he's coming over tomorrow I think".

His mentor?

"Mentor?" I asked, slightly embarrassed for forgetting whatever it was he told me.

"Yes lu, my mentor. You know, the program with the year 13s?", he answered in a futile attempt to jog my memory. Welp, this is awkward.

He sighed, "They gave some of us mentors who are in year 13, my one is bare weird though" His attention was still on the screen before him as he explained.

"Year 13? What's his name?", I questioned. Maybe I'd know him. The year 13s were the year above me, but being a sixth former meant that the year 12s and year 13s mixed anyway. We were practically one big year group.

"Bruh, does it look like I know?" He deadpanned before sighing again. "He was ginger and really tall, I don't know why they gave me the nerd", he huffed again.

Ginger and really tall? No one came to mind as I tried to put a name to that description. Interesting.

I decided to leave him and make my way up the stairs to my room. I noted that my mum and dad weren't home yet.

I took off my outfit and changed into some shorts and a tank top. Removing my wig, I jumped onto my bed to FaceTime Tee. It rang a few times before he answered.

"Yoooooo", I said whilst taking out my braids.
I heard loud sounds in the background before the camera turned to his face. His face looked flushed and his usually perfect hair looked a mess.

"Tallula, my favourite bitch", he responded with a lopsided smile.

"You gonna come meet us then?" He continued before flipping the camera to show some people in our year.

"Who's there?" I asked as I took out my last braid and started to fluff out my natural hair.

Looking around my room, my eyes zeroed in on the mechanics assignments I have due as he continued.

"The usual people love, I'm pretty sure Lacey and that are gonna come later", he said putting some emphasis on 'Lacey'.

"Nah, I have some assignments I've got to do before Sir kills me tomorrow", I said with a small laugh.

"You fucking nerd. Well don't have too much fun", he says sarcastically before dipping his head towards the camera. The little bitch.

"Haha, bye," I replied with a straight face before ending the call. I moved towards my sky window after grabbing my speaker and zoot I rolled earlier.

It's almost November in London, meaning school nights are darker but also quieter. I've always loved the winter, the darkness comforted me like a blanket and the slight crisp to the air kept me feeling refreshed. I loved it.

I sat on my roof and put on my work playlist before lighting the green substance. I felt my body becoming lazier as I tried to focus on the lyrics to the song. I slightly bopped my head as the effects of the drug started taking over most of my senses. Smiling up to the sky, I felt so content with my life. I wish I could go back in time and tell my past self that it'd get better and that I'd just have to wait a little while.

Once finished, I threw it off my roof and climbed back into my room. I went straight to my desk feeling calmer and ready to finish the assignment. I overthink. I constantly overthink and smoking really helps me to enjoy the problems being thrown at me in the form of equations.

Feeling satisfied with the work I've done I put my pen down and looked towards my clock. A couple of hours had passed and I found myself wondering where the time had gone. I tied my hair up into a bun and made my way downstairs.

What the actual fuck.

Stirring what seemed to be stir fry on a pan, stood a tall lanky redhead. His back was to me as he faced the span of our living room, he was wearing light-washed jeans and a huge blue jumper.

Just as I began to make my way into the room his feet started to shift. He turned his long body towards me before halting. We now stood about a foot apart and I seemed to be staring at his chest. Craning my neck upwards I met the eyes of-

Well to be honest I don't know who the fuck this is. He seemed around my age. Probably. I don't know. His blue eyes looked pitch black in the dim light of my kitchen although I'm sure they glistened in the day. His lips were plump and a peachy colour, whilst his eyebrows were on the thinner side and seemed to match his hair colour.

All in all, he was hot. In a 'I am such a dork and probably have no friends' type of way. But hey, hot is hot.

I internally huffed at my self-dialogue as I realised I had just been standing up at this overgrown elf looking, guy.

"Well hello", I greeted.

Authors note:

Okay so what do we think of Tallula?

Honestly, this book was supposed to be completely in Micas POV but as I thought more about them, I realised I wanted you guys to see both sides of their relationship.

Any tips of improvement??

Till next time my lovelys <3
