[Kyla's POV]

Being dragged out of the elevator and saying goodbye to the other couple, Felix leads me down the long lobby hallway. Different doors leading to different rooms like the gym and pool area.

Stopping by the window looking into the indoor pool, I was in awe at how big it was. A few people were already swimming around and some kids were splashing about.

Leading me down some more, Felix never releases my hand.

We then stop by the cafeteria they have, and looked at the little free snacks we can grab. Snatching up a few cookies and some other sweets, I giggle at Felix's eager sweet tooth.

"These look so good..." he gawks, before grabbing a few more, and speed walks out of the room. Not forgetting to grab my hand, dragging me along once again.

"You better share some with me," I grumble jokingly.

"Don't worry, I wouldn't forget to feed my lovely girlfriend," he beamed before turning forward again.

Taken aback by his sentence, a blush leaps onto my face. Right, we're still doing that whole practice relationship thing...

After a while of snacking in random places in the hotel, we made sure to explore every public room they serviced.

"Ooh look a bar, you want a drink?" The blonde asked.

"Felix, I turn 21 on Friday. I can't drink yet," I said.

"I know, but we can just get a non-alcoholic drink, like sparkling juice," he smiled. I couldn't help but agree and follow him into the fairly busy hotel bar.

Finding a two-person table, Felix goes to get our drinks while I hunker down.

Wanting to past time, I take out my phone Chan gave back to me at the airport when we arrived.

Scrolling through all of my socials, I noticed I've gotten a lot of texts from concerned friends.

Looking through the conversations, I see Changbin and Felix covered for me by saying I had a family emergency.

I was about to click another conversation when I suddenly felt a tap on my shoulder, instantly catching my attention.

Turning to meet the person, my eyes meet the blue orbs of a fairly older man.

"I saw you walk in and couldn't help but wonder, what's your name pretty stranger?" He asked.

Already feeling uncomfortable, I hesitantly answer.

"Um... my name is KJ..." I lied.

"Ooou exotic... just like you," he giggled before booping my nose.

This man was obviously drunk and the boop on my nose was my breaking point. But all I did was sit there, awkwardly smiling through the pain.

"So... you prefer older men, sweetheart?" He slurred, reaching out to twirl a strand of my hair around his grubby finger.

"Uh-"

"No she doesn't, she just prefers guys around her age, like me. Now if you don't mind sir, I'll be taking my girlfriend back," Felix interrupted. Handing me my drink, he swiftly takes my free hand in his and leads my out to the balcony area of the bar.

Letting out a breath I didn't know. I was holding, I thank Felix by giving his hand a reassuring squeeze.

"He didn't do anything, right?"

"No I'm fine, you came and saved me at the perfect time," I smiled.

The rest of the afternoon, we stayed there and talked about stuff, getting to know each other more and more. By 3pm we already went through 4 rounds of drinks.

It was a fun little time, but now we had to go back to the room. From there, the mission will finally begin.

Walking back, Felix still held onto my hand. His hand in mine felt warm and... sent a fuzzy feeling through my body. I didn't realize it, but I had a small smile on my face during the whole walk back.

Finally entering the suite, everyone was begin to gather in the living room, preparing for the first part of the mission.

Making eye contact with Taylor, she noticed Felix and I's hands still intertwined. Not noticing myself, her suggestive look snapped me back to reality.

Embarrassed, I clear my throat and let go on Felix's hand. I swear when I was letting go, I could feel his hand not complying for a second.

Brushing it off I pay my attention to Chan and Hongjoong who were in front of everyone. I'm guessing they're gonna go over the plan again and hype everyone up.

And that's exactly what they did. They reminded everyone their role, and how things are gonna go down.

Everything had to be executed precisely or else everything would crumble.

I wasn't paying attention during any of these meetings, but one thing did catch my attention.

"-San, Taylor, you guys will survey the house and check and pin-point the cameras. After that, while the masquerade is going on Felix and Kyla will distract her father." Hongjoong spoke, "As he's distracted... we'll take back what's rightfully ours."

"Just to clarify, how much money are we taking?" Yeosang interrupted.

"He owes us 100,000. Take that and some freebies if you want."

"Sweet."

"And just to clear it up, Hannah and Seonghwa will attend as close friends but not your plus, Olivia and Taylor will be staying there with you two, along with Minho and San," Chan said.

"Alright, the rest of us know what we're doing so... you guys get on your way. Lix, text one of us when you guys arrive," Chan finished. Felix nodded and grabbed his bag.

Every began to say goodbye and good luck to each other, hugs were given, and just plain handshakes were done as well.

Stepping out, Felix shuts the suite door behind us and we all head down to the lobby.

Pilling in the van, we made sure we had all of our stuff obtained and ready to go. After one last check we were on the road.

It was only a half-an-hour drive to my father's place, and as the gps said we were close, my heart beat quickened and my hands start sweating.

I couldn't stop bouncing my knee, and I guess Felix noticed. Since I was in the passenger seat and he was in the drivers, Felix attempted to comfort me by placing his hand over mine.

Giving it a little squeeze and shooting me a quick reassuring smile, my nerves calmed a bit. And I felt fine for a minute.

That was until we pulled up to the gigantic mansion.

No wonder my dad didn't order a venue, this place is big enough to put at least 500 people.

The house style was traditional but with a hint of modernism. Truly a beautiful sight.

Parking the car, Felix turned to everyone who had nervous faces as well.

"We got this guys, just think of it as a... vacation," he smiled.

Nodding, we all piled out grabbing or bags from the trunk. As I wait for my turn to grab my stuff, a all-too familiar voice booms over us.

"There's my baby!"

Taking a deep breath, I muster up all the confidence I have in my body. Turning around, I finally meet the eyes of the man whom I haven't seen in over a decade.

Putting on a fake smile, I let the breath go.

"Hi papá..."
