[George's POV]
My eye's slowly fluttered open, my body slowly started to awaken. I had passed out. The last thing I remembered was being dragged by Ethan. I was on a white bed, in a fairly large, spacious room. There was a huge window to my right and a counter on the left. I looked as if I was in a lab room. Most of the room was white, including the walls.
Oh, that's right! Ace had cut my wrists. And since I had passed out, how long was I unconscious. Did I miss any lessons? My day had just started. I glanced around my surroundings, it was only me. The window was open too, which probably explained the draught of cold breeze that surrounded me. I slowly stepped off the bed and peeked around the corner of the room exit. The door!
I tiptoed my way out the door and headed to my homeroom, I needed answers. As I strutted through the halls I looked through the classroom windows, everyone was in a lesson. I was missing a lesson! How long was I unconscious for?!
I stopped in my tracks, a clock!
11:22?! I had been unconscious for around about an hour? No way! Then I thought about it...
Had I fallen asleep? I don't know! It's one of the only reasonable reasons I could think of! Regardless, I had missed break and most of the lesson going on.
I sighed, frustrated with the confusion, if only Ace wasn't in, none of this would've happened! Or maybe if he hadn't taken what I said to heart? What do I even mean "heart"? I bet he doesn't even have a heart! He's got metal. I spun around and continued to stroll to my homeroom.
Once I reached the homeroom, I opened the door and toddled in, completely ignoring the fact there was a whole class staring at me for waltzing in. I looked up at my homeroom teacher and scratched the back of my head
"Sir what's going on?" I asked anxiously, watching as he raised an eyebrow.
"What'd you mean?" He asked in confusion, "And what are you doing out of class?".
I blinked, "Sir I was in the infirmary and I don't know what to do now"
"Ahh yes! Of course! I apologize for the confusion George. You can just head on to your lesson or you could go up to Miss Angels if anything else is needed." He replied, refreshed as his memory came back to him.
I smiled before walking away. I wasn't going to go to class, I needed Ethan, I needed his company. I felt a bit lost, a bit dull. And with that, I headed to the next year's floor.
[No-one's POV]
George's curiosity hit him when he saw the elevator come to view. He's never been on the elevator and since no one was around, he had a chance to go on it. And with that, he headed to the elevator.
He stepped in and inspected the number pad. The next year's floor was the 2nd one. George pushed the number 2 and watched as the reflective doors shut and captured him in. He felt the floor beneath him go up, quite slowly at first but then it went full speed. George's quite small body could barely hold on. But all was okay when the elevator had stopped and the shiny doors opened, revealing the lights of the 2nd floor.
It was quite quiet up here and the air felt a bit tight. Just a little though, George was a bit small for his age. He wasn't the average 14 year old. He also struggled with breathing, just a little though. It was only drastic if it was pressured. Although he was more prone to it than most.
George walked down the halls while ignoring the stares of the students through the classroom windows. George knew his brother had most of his classes in one specific room, B2. George remembered it because his year floor is the second one, number 2, and the letter "B" is the second one in the alphabet. It was quite easy to remember.
