[Ethan's POV]
I proceeded to drag Ace outside the building from the back exit and onto the streets.
"Let's be quick, my mom's gunna be pissed if she finds out I was in detention" Ace proposed quickly, breathing in a fast pace beyond comprehension. I nodded and began to walk, heading to Ace's place.
Halfway through the journey, which wasn't going to be long, a bullet hit me with the sudden realization, Geroge was probably waiting at school for me, unaware that I had already headed out and was going to Ace's. He probably wouldn't have seen me either since I came out the back exit and not the front.
I quickly whipped out my phone from my coat pocket and swiped to Geroge's contact. I pressed on the call button and waited for him to pick up. Ace noticed I was calling someone since he could hear the ringing tones and immediately asked, "Who are you calling?"
As I was about to answer, I noticed George had picked up the phone.
"Ethan, where-" I interrupted George as he spoke.
"Georgie, I'm almost at Ace's place, head over"
I could hear Geroge's breathing hitch as he paused, "Is this a joke?" He asked dumbfounded.
"Mom's not gunna be home earlier today, remember? No-one will be home" I replied.
Geroge groaned in frustration, "There's no way I'm getting near him, not after what he did today!"
Ace stared at me, expressionless. He was truly stuck in Geroge's words, which he could hear over the phone speaker.
"Sorry George, unless you wanna sit in the cold alone, untill mom arrives, I'd recommend just comin' over, I'll send you the location" I sighed, "Besides you two need to get along, this could help"
"Fine, cya there" George replied reluctantly before hanging up.
I grunted before shoving my phone in my pocket. I looked up to find myself in Ace's street. We were just about there.
I looked at Ace as we climbed up his house steps, he seemed cold. Maybe a bit grumpy? Was it what George had said? Did it- hurt him?
Nah, no way. He's the most emotionless person I know. He doesn't get hurt by shit, let alone words. Let alone words that came over Geroge's mouth!
Whatever, let's just head in.
Ace fumbled with the keys before he opened his door, taking his time along the way.
"I'm so getting a passcode door, this is bullshit" He grumply murmured under his breath, before swinging the door open.
I glanced awkwardly at him as he stood there, we both locked eyes in an intense stare.
"Come in, take your shoes off" Ace said, being as polite as he could ever be. I nodded and walked in, obeying his rules. I slipped my shoes off and put them to the side before following close by Ace.
He strolled up the massive stairs before opening his bedroom door.
I stared in awe at his room, it looked absolutely luxurious. "It's so much more different than the last time I.." I paused, lost at the sight.
There was a huge emperor sized bed with white, non-wrinkled blankets laid out on it, complimented with gold accents. At the head of the bed, rested 4 thick, white pillows, which looked fresh and brand new. At the foot of the bed was a long blanket, gold and white. The bed itself looked a few hundred dollars.
There was a little white bedside desk beside the bed with a lamp and an essence diffuser, which was on, glowing a light blue colour.
There was a large window to the left of the bed that was covered with absolutely stunning curtains. And opposite of the window, resting on the wall, was a large desk with a wardrobe. There was also two chairs, soft and white.
