summertime madness pt. 4 (last part for now)

It was July 9th two days before his birthday, you were all heading out to the campground you had his presents in a gift bag for him.
( you had bought him a red hat because he didn't have one and a unicorn stuffed animal because he has a weird thing with unicorns and gave him some cash) we had gotten to the campground and he asked if you wanted to go swimming in the river with him and his sister and you said sure.
As you're walking down there, his sisters already down there because she has a bike but he told you that you dropped something so you turned around to look and he smacked your
a$$ and you looked at him blushing and said what was that for and he told you he just couldn't resist. You didn't think much of it.
You guys got into the River and swam for a little then his sister said she was gonna go to the pool and he told her we would be there in a minute. He picked you up in the water and held you like a baby, he told you that he hadn't officially broke up with you and you had thought that since he blocked you that he had ended things so you told him "just get it over with then." And he said "who said I wanted to?" You look at him surprised and he asks you if you wanna get back together and that he didn't block you, it was his dad and that he wouldn't hurt you this time and so you told him you could care less what happened between you two because you knew you still loved him but you didn't know how he felt about you.
You get out of the water, onto the dock and as you go to pick up your shoes he comes up behind you and smacks your a$$ again and this time you let it slide and walk up to the pool and he grabbed you and pulled you onto him and kissed you.
He was your first kiss a couple of weeks before that and you still had no idea how to kiss and he looked at you and told you to just relax and you did and the kiss brought you so much comfort but you knew it wasn't right.
You pulled away and just smiled and he didn't let go of you until he wanted to go back and so you guys all walked back but it was super awkward when we got back because his dad looked at us and said "what did you two do Denny" and he said "we went swimming, what else would we have done?" And his dad just looked at him and told him to go get changed and he did and so did you but when you came out of the camper your mom told you to go back in and change because you didn't need to dress like a hooker in front of him ( you were wearing a tank top and shorts) and so you went back in to change and put on a t-shirt and sweatpants and she said that was much better
You went on a walk to get away from everyone and sat at the park then 20 minutes later Dennis comes up behind you and hugs you and asks if you're ok, you told him you were but you were just thinking and he told you that you didn't have to think anymore because things were gonna be ok but deep down in your heart you know this wasn't gonna work out...
as the camping trip ends, you give Dennis his gifts on his birthday and he loves them! He hugged you and told you thank you! And you told him "you're welcome" with a tiny smile on your face and then they had left and so had you.

A couple of weeks later everything was just fine, he still hasn't unblocked you but you were in a group chat together so that's how you talked. He had told you that he had f*cked some girl on the air mattress from Fourth of July and you broke down almost immediately after reading that and then stopped talking to him after that.
Alissa and Aaron had now become your best friends and you know they're real ones, Alissa and Aaron had started dating and you were so happy for them!

Out of nowhere, you get a message

Dylan🌕💤: hey y/n, are you busy?

You sit there in shock, you had forgot all about Dylan... but as soon as you got that text your heart fluttered.

Y/n: heyyy I missed you! No I'm not busy at the moment, why what's up?

Dylan🌕💤: oh no reason I just thought that it's been a minute since we talked last:)

Y/n: it has!

Dylan🌕💤: I missed you love :)

*You start freaking out after reading that sentence a good 50 times! *

Y/n: I missed you too :)

*You and dylan start talking on a daily basis and things keep getting better from there on :)*

Dylan🌕💤: hey cutie :)

Y/n: I'm not the cute one haha it's all you

Dylan🌕💤: fine then you're a meanie -_-

Y/n: I'm ok with that :)

💜cutie💜: ok but you're still the cutest person I've ever met :)

Y/n: ok... if you say so, but I just changed your name to cutie with 2 Purple Hearts because I know that's your favorite color:)

💜Cutie💜: aww that's so sweet love, I gotta change yours now :)

Y/n: oh? To what?

Y/n: really lmaoo

* you continue to talk, it is now August 24th and you're sitting at a park talking to Alissa and see Dylan has a sendit on his story so you have Alissa ask who he's crushing on and he said "swipe up" and so she did and she called you. Curious of his answer you ask her what he said and she told you " oh yea he said it's you" you sit there a little shocked... "what!?" You ask blushing like crazy.
"He said that you're his crush, he really likes you, like a lot"

You message Dylan right away :)
