Chapter 4

Dumbledores plan worked out perfectly he woke up Lily and James and told them that Charles was the one who killed the dark lord. Immediately they rushed up and startled to coddle and praise Charles and Hadrian was left completely ignored in him crib.

The next day Charles was hailed the boy who lived while Hadrian was left alone and forgotten. Everyone went over to him and played with him and just in general wanting to be in the presence of the boy who lived all except Sirius Black, Remus Black, Minerva McGonagall, and Severus Snape who all went over to Hadrian and played with him.

This is how Hadrian lived for another year when he was aged three. This was the year dumbledore convinced Lily and James to send Hadrian to Petunia and Vernon so that Hadrian wouldnt become jealous of Charles and learn to hate him. So thats what they did.

By the next week Hadrian was all packed and ready to go to the Dursleys household, he didnt know this but to his parents that didnt matter. When Hadrian was asleep, they put him in a sleeping bag and left him on the Dursleys doorstep with all his things.

The next morning when petunia went to get the mail, she found the child on her doorstep and immediately took him inside. After making sure he wasnt ill from the cold and putting him of the sofa cuddled up with blankets in front of the fire, she noticed a note sticking out of the bag that was with him so picked it up and read it. After reading who he was and why he was there she was infuriated, moments later Vernon came down and just before he could question the little boy on the sofa, she passed him the note he felt the exact same way she did.

The two looked at each other and made a silent vow that he would be safe and happy from now on. However, saddened as they were about it, they couldnt keep him, he was a magical child, so they sent him to family of wizards that lived in North Europe called the Krums and thats where he lived for two years till, he turned five.

He had run away to the Dursleys as he remembered them, he knocked on the door and the door was once again answered by Petunia. She was shocked to see him and immediately welcomed him into the house, as it turned out the family had been abusing him.

He was covered in head to toe in scars, burns, bruises, rashes, cuts, and welts. Hadrian had been traumatised, he was afraid; to be touched, of the dark, of loud voice, he had become very shy and had a very small appetite now.
