[Haikyuu CaptainsxReader] "The Youth"

When the crew were done cleaning up dinner and taking their night showers. They all gathered around in the caravan. Y/N sitting with Ushijima and Oikawa and Bokuto sitting on the other side. Kuroo and Daichi both just standing by the open spaces beside the cushions. This is just their first day at New Zealand and honestly they have done a lot. Let's just see if they can handle the first night as well.

"So how are we going to arrange the beds to sleep for tonight?" Oikawa decided to be the one to ask since all of them were too quiet.

"I'm fine with anything" Daichi said and Ushijima nodded to his words.

"Well I've already decided to sleep here so I'm settled" Kuroo pointed at the sofas they're sitting at. If you're wondering, the table is actually detachable so there's more spaces to share.

"Me too! We can both sleep here" Bokuto stood up in excitement.

"Then I'll sleep at the back" Oikawa got up and was ready to head there until Daichi stopped him.

"No can do. We already agreed to letting Y/N use the bed" Daichi said and Oikawa raised his eyebrows at him.

"Oh please. I'm not saying I'm gonna end up snuggling with her. The bed isn't that small either so I'll sleep at the further right while she takes the left. Sound good, Y/N?" Oikawa look at Y/N who's drinking from her juice box. She looks up at him, not aware of what he just said.

"Huh?" She responded.

"She said yes so we're good" Oikawa went to the back and Y/N just look at everyone in confusion.

"Then what about Daichi and Ushijima? Where are they gonna sleep?" Bokuto ask and Daichi looked at the drivers seat.

"I can manage sleeping there. What about you?" Daichi look at Ushijima who was busy handing Y/N some tissues. He look at him, not knowing what to say.

"I can take shotgun" Ushijima said and just like that, everything is settled.

Then after that, everyone went to do their own routines before getting ready to sleep in for the night. The cameraman followed Y/N as she suddenly walked out of the van and headed somewhere. She stopped and checked when she found a kitchen. The dishes aren't washed and are just stored away in the sink of the caravan. Which gave Y/N the idea to take the dirty dishes from the van and wash them at the campsite kitchen.

When she was finished transferring everything there, she made sure to roll up her pajama sleeves before turning on the water. Then washing all of the plates with both the sponge and soap. She was basically daydreaming while her hands were doing the work so she didn't notice Daichi coming in, that was until she got startled by the sound of Daichi placing the water bottles right next to where she's standing at. She looked at him after she was done cleaning the last plate.

"Thanks for taking the time to wash these" Daichi thanked Y/N who immediately reacted with a smile on her face.

"It's nothing to thank me for. Since you guys helped prepare dinner, obviously I needed to do something in return" Y/N grab the water bottles and helped Daichi wash them.

"Still, I can't help but just say thank you" Daichi gazes in fondness as Y/N refill the water bottles by the water dispenser.

"I'll help you carry these" Daichi picked up the neatly stacked plates and carefully took them to the caravan. Y/N following just beside him.

"Are you really okay with sleeping in the drivers seat. That sounds really uncomfortable" Y/N was concern for him which cause Daichi to let out a shy chuckle.

"You don't have to worry about me. I'm sure I'll get use to it" Daichi was blushing but because it was night time and extremely dark, nobody seems to noticed it.
