Chapter 4 - Control Gone

Arielle's PoV

"W-what?" I'm pretty sure I heard it right. Medyo may tama lang ako pero nasa wisyo pa ko

"You're wearing a sexy dress on you and your getting yourself drunk with a random guy with you! Get yourself together Arielle! I was able to stop myself that night pero hindi ko na alam magagawa ko pag naulit pa"

"So ikaw yung guy na nakasama ko that night at a hotel?"

"Oo ako nga"

"Y-you...."

"I was drunk, you were drunk, but I didn't explode inside you, I'm pretty sure about that"

I don't know what I'm getting myself into pero hinigit ko siya palayo sa bar

"M-mi- Arielle san tayo pupunta?!"

"To finish what you started"

"H-ho?!"

Hindi ko rin alam bakit ganto tumatakbo sa utak ko pero ang alam ko lang gusto ko makalimot. Yun lang.

We arrived at a nearby hotel at nagbook ako ng kwarto hila hila pa rin tong driver ko. We headed up and I was about to get inside nang kumalas siya sa hawak ko

"Arielle teka lang"

"What?"

"Anong what? Mali to okay?!"

"Lagi naman ako mali sanay na ko" walang emosyong sabi ko bago pumasok sa kwarto but he's not following me

"What?!"

"Mam wag niyo na kong bayaran. Aalis na ho ako"

"Wait what?!" Sambit ko as I walked out to follow him at pigilan siya

"Ano ba?!"

"Anong ano ba?! Arielle nag-iisip ka ba?!"

Napayuko na lang ako sa sinabi niya... oo mali tong ginagawa ko... pero kasi...

"Please... I'm begging you... gusto ko lang naman makalimutan yung ex ko at best friend ko... ang sakit sakit ehh..." sambit ko not even noticing the tears that fell in my eyes

"Pumasok muna tayo sa kwarto" sambit niya then he started to pull me back in the room this time

Philip's PoV

Dumirecho ako sa kusina at kumuha ng tubig para kay Arielle. She's heartbroken but I won't take advantage of that. That's the last thing I'd want to happen.

"Oh uminom ka muna nang mahimasmasan ka"

"I look desperate didn't I?"

"Nasaktan ka lang" sambit ko sitting across her

"Pwede ko bang malaman? I mean... it can lighten you up kung ilabas mo yan" she sighed afterwards

"That party... was the bridal shower of my best friend... today she gets to marry my ex boyfriend"

"She doesn't know?" Hula ko kasi it's big enough to marry your best friend's ex pero okay sila ng best friend niya as far as I remember that night

"Yeah... we had a secret relationship... but then nalaman ko lang na wala na kami when she proposed to her... in front of me"

"He's fcked up!" Singhal ko "gago yung lalaking yun!"

"But I still love him..."

"He's not worth it Arielle"

"Ang sakit sakit ehh... ang bigat bigat sa dibdib..."

"Do you plan telling your best friend?"

"Para san pa? Para sirain sila?"

"I just thought she still needs to know"

"Mawawalan ako ng best friend"

"Natural nag under the table ka eh" I said rashly "sorry... but it's better for her to know everything and get angry kesa masaya siya pero niloko pala siya ng pinakasalan niya. You never know hindi lang pala ikaw ang babae nung ex mong yun"

"Hindi ko na alam" sambit niya putting the glass down covering her face with her hands

"Arielle, ipakita mo dun sa ex mo na you're better off without him... then put up that courage to confess to your best friend. Alam kong alam mo na yun ang tamang gawin"

"Me? Better off? Without him? Parang hindi naman"

"Maganda ka Arielle... I may be someone like a stranger to you pero sinasabi ko sayo maganda ka. You don't need a man to prove that you're beautiful... believe and love yourself Arielle"

"Salamat... ano nga ulit pangalan mo?"

"Philip... Philip Dmitri Lehmann"

"Salamat Philip"

"Wala yun... sige na magpahinga ka na aalis na ko"

"Wait!" Pagpigil niya dito

"Ano yun?"

"C-can you at least make out with me?"

"Arielle kasasabi ko lang di ba? Ano ba nasa utak mo?"

"K-kailangan ko..."

"Anong kailangan? Arielle?"

"I feel hot... d-dahil yata sa alak but I... I really wanted to kiss you right now"

"Arielle I am literally trying to control my own urge. Lalaki ako Arielle. I am a stranger to you, driver at mekaniko mo ko-"

"But I feel comfortable with you..."

"Ohh fck it" I surrendered. Gusto niya di ba? Di siya lasing di ba? Tangina bahala na.
