The omega whimpers as he rubbed his burn-churning stomach to ease the pain. Black wings draped around his body as an attempt to shield and protect his heat-induced body.

The omega continued whimpering and rubbing his stomach as his heat began to worsen. He was used to heats but now that he have a mate, his heats consists of wanting to be with his Alpha until it ended.

But his Alpha is nowhere to be found. No, Dream knows where his Alpha is. The beach. He knows where he is, what he's doing, and how important it is.

It was an important meeting between Phil and Techno. The two wanted to collect some turtle eggs for a while now and they decided to go searching for turtles right this morning.

The two went to collect the eggs this morning. And it is now the afternoon. They went 4 hours ago and Dream's heat started 2 hours ago.

The Alpha was not warned because Dream thought that his heat was going to start next week. A miscalculation that led to his demise.

This was the first time Dream went to heat without his mate. Techno had been with him every single time he experienced his heats.

They cuddle and kiss all day until the heat was done.

But now, Techno is gone. And Dream began cursing himself for not alerting his Alpha about the heat. For miscalculating the days supposed of his heat.

He began to wonder if that is how it feels to have a pup. He wonders what their pup will look like when he gave birth.

No, Dream did not just think about giving birth to a pup with pink hair and green eyes. No, he did not think about how beautiful that imagination was.

Dream misses his Alpha. All rational thoughts was thrown away earlier as the heat in his stomach began to hurt. But now that he was 2 hours in, he started to feel used to it, still rubbing his stomach to ease some pain.

Now that he is thinking clearly, the omega began to do what should be done earlier when the heat was just starting. But, don't blame him, the pain is worse than burning in lava. Not really. But it hurts like heck.

He slowly stood up the nest and began to slowly walk to the living room, where Steve the Polar Bear resides, and collapses in the couch, where a royal red cloak remains.

Techno left it there since the Alpha knows that Dream likes to cuddle with it sometimes when he was gone running some errands. And, gosh, how thankful Dream was when he saw the red cloak.

His Alpha's scent was still intact with the cloth, which immediately eased some of his pain away. Some, not all of it. But he was thankful.

Now that the pain is easing, he searched through Techno's chests for his communicator. Dream always put his communicator and mask in some chest in his lover's living room.

Oh how gleeful Dream was when he spotted the item.

He grabbed the said item and began msg-ing Techno.

He didn't need to create full sentences. He knows that Techno will know what's up with the message. Now all he have to do is to wait. Which is easy to say and hard to do now that the scent in the cloak began to dissipate and replaced by his own scent, which is not good for his heat.

He waited, mentally counting numbers in his mind and trying to distract himself from the pain.

He was on 1,523 seconds when he heard the thundering footsteps climbing up the stairs. He sniffed and the pain began to ease up again.

His mate is here. His Alpha is here. Dream was elated as the footsteps began to near him. Which was fast. God knows how fast Techno was when he ran through the house to the living room, finding his mate covered by his red cloak.

The omega was staring at him, eyes lidded and small tears in the corner of his eyes.

"Techno..." Dream whimpers as he opened his arms, wanting to cuddle with his mate until the heat is gone.

Of course, the Alpha will not ignore his Omega's request.

Techno immediately went to his Omega's arms and just stayed there for a couple of minutes. Hearing his lover's whimpers and noticing his scent of distress when he was nearing the house earlier was scary for the Alpha, knowing that his Omega was in pain, wanting him, all by himself.

And, oh boy, how fast Techno was was returning home when he saw the msg Dream sent him.

Filled with guilt, Techno began to release a scent that Dream did not like.

Dream growled at the scent as he faced his lover, which immediately began to calm as he noticed Techno's face filled with guilt and sadness.

"Baby, it's not your fault.." He began to tell his lover.

"But, your heat... I was not there for yo-"

"And you're here now. I did not know that the heat was gonna start this day too. So it's not your fault. If you still think it is, which is not, then just cuddle and stay with me as punishment." Dream said as he held his lover's face.

Techno began to release some relieved pheromones as he began to assess that his mate was not angry at him for not being there. Oh, how the Blood God began to soften for his mate.

Dream hummed, pleased by the calming and relieving scent coming from the Alpha.

"Bedroom?" Techno suggested, his back beginning to ache by the uncomfortable position they managed to entangle together earlier. And knowing Dream, his back must be hurting too along with the heat pain.

Dream nodded for affirmation as he let himself be carried by the his lover.

The Piglin hybrid went to their room and immediately noticed the nest Dream must have done earlier when he was not there.

The nest consist various of clothing, including almost all his white long sleeved shirts and pants. The only missing piece was his cloak since he only have two of them in the overworld. All his royal items was in the Nether in his fortress.

He put Dream in the middle of the nest and began to strip unnecessary clothing away from his body.

He remained in his pants and immediately went to cuddle with his mate. He heard purring and purred along with it, letting his mate know that he's comfortable. He smiled as he kissed Dream's forehead, happy to know that he have a mate to take care of, to protect, and to fight alongside with.

It was nice. They spent all day kisses each other and cuddling. Whispering sweet nothings to each other and finally went to sleep, still intact with his mate.

Also, Philza managed to get some turtle eggs. So, nothing to worry about. (・∀・)
