Shopping (todochako)

"Todoroki, are you already set?" Shouto blinked snapping out of his trance. He looked at the bubbly zero gravity quirk user in her casual wear beside him and nodded. It was a calm weekend and today, it was his and Ochako's turn to restock their groceries.

Shouto looked at Ochako once again in a trance, getting lost in thought as they walked to Ochako's suggested grocery store. Shouto finds himself having respect for her determination and drive. Although they don't talk much if left alone, he admits to appreciating her presence rather than an explosive pomeranian he once accompanied grocery shopping. Well anyone else would be better than accompanying Katsuki shopping.

"We're here!" Ochako grinned standing over the large grocery store. Shouto looked up and read "Saver's corner".

"Todoroki?" Shouto looked at her already pushing a large cart. Shouto was no stranger to Ochako's impeccable budgeting and money-saving so he understood how she could come to find this place.

Shouto felt like being blessed with the coldest kiss from everywhere the moment he stepped in the blasting fan of the large store and almost lost himself in the feeling. But we won't mention that.(I honestly love this feeling especially when it's blazing endeavor out here... Get it endeavor? Cause he's flaming hot... Like his quirk is fire? Aye? Aye? I'll show myself out)

Ochako finds Shouto's presence to be quite calming from Tenya's constant reminders of how things should be done with utmost rightness, to Izuku's occasionally muttering storm whenever a new All Might merch is released. His quietness helped her focus on their list.

She almost forgot he was there...

"Todoroki, What would-" she turned holding two types of branded noodles only to freeze when she saw there was no candy cane following her.

'Shit, he's gone' he in fact, was no longer there

Ochako looked around panic bubbling in her stomach

'Half and half keeps wondering around the fucking store, I spent more time finding him than getting the groceries' now it makes sense.

"Todoroki?" Ochako's motherly instincts activated and up and left her cart and checked every aisle they have been through.

'dairy, frozen meats, sweets, children's corner' Ochako recited in her head while she skimmed through the aisles.

"where-" Ochako froze when she spotted Shouto squatting over the large TVs playing hypnotizing satisfying clips.

"Todoroki!" she huffed feeling relieved to find him. She wondered how he ended up in this aisle on the farthest part of the store.

"Oh, Uraraka! I just turned around and you were gone... I tried to find you but..." Shouto explained, trailing off while being hypnotized by a knife going through kinetic sand. Ochako nodded understanding trying to look away from the alluring moving picture.

"T-todoroki... we have to go..." Ochako ushered the dazed Todoroki back to where their cart is.

"Tododroki! our cart is gone!" Ochako gasped finding their full cart gone from the aisle she left it in, How long were they hypnotized by those satisfying sand?! . Shouto stood behind her with a neutral expression.

"I apologize, my lack of direction caused our groceries to run away" Shouto apologized to Ochako who looked pretty done with everything. Time lost, and efforts wasted.

"Even the groceries ran away" he sulked

"No, no, Tododroki, It's my fault, I shouldn't have left the cart alone" she sighed. "Yes, but if I wasn't lost, we would've been done by now" Ochako said no more to avoid spiraling into apologies.
