A FEW MINUTES LATER
I sat on the bleachers wearing football gear as sweat beaded down the bridge of my nose and dropped to the grassy field below me.
Stiles.
I looked up and searched around. I furrowed my brows and shook my head. Scott dropped onto the bench beside me panting with his football helmet in his hand. "Coach meant business today. He's really pushing us. Greenberg has already thrown up three times—oh, no, wait. Make that four times." Scott said as we watched Greenberg hurl on the field. The both of us cringed in disgust.
Stiles.
I looked around again. "Dude, what's wrong?" Scott asked looking up at me as I rose to my feet. "Someone is calling my name." I said. Scott looked around. "What are you talking about?" Scott voiced. I searched the field before my eyes passed over a pair of men. One was tall and blonde with blue eyes and the other was the same one from earlier. I took a step forward onto the field with squinted eyes. The blonde one smirked as he looked at me. I noticed him say something indistinguishable to the man beside him. "Stiles! Dude! Get off the field!" Scott called out. I hadn't realized I made it into the middle of the field. When a high-pitched whistling pierced my left eardrum.
My left pointer finger twitched before my left hand shot out and caught the football flying at my head. I was so focused on the two men that the move I had just performed hadn't quite been processed yet by my brain. The shorter of the two men looked...impressed almost. "Stiles! Dude! That was amazing!" Scott exclaimed running over to me. I turned around and looked at him as I looked down at the ball in my hand. "How...did I? When did I get on the field?" I asked him. "Dude, who cares?! That catch was insane!" Scott voiced. Soon enough most of the football team was surrounding me. I looked back to the location of the two strangers but found they were gone. My brows tweaked down in confusion as I got lost in thought. How did I end up on the field?
