"r-ryunousuke?" i blushed, wondering how much he had just noticed. judging from his facial expression; everything.
"i didn't ask you what my name was. i asked you if you want to explain something to me."
ryunousuke looked at me with a mixture of anger and sadness. my elation from earlier was blown away.
"i-" i tried to start, but ryunousuke cut me off.
"it didn't mean anything to you, did it? not the date, not me, not anything. it meant absolutely nothing to you."
"listen-"
"no, you listen. what you did was wrong. fucking wrong. do you honestly think he would treat you better than me? he'll take advantage of you and then throw you away, the guy is just that kind of guy!"
"no, i know that-"
"why do you girls always run after the wrong guys? you'll see i was right."
with these words he left and threw the garden gate shut with a loud bang.
oh god.

"you know, we should really have a party at your place. i mean; hello? you'll soon have the place to yourself!" emma winked at me and put some salad on her plate and i cleared my throat.
last night, takeru had decided to tell our parents that he was a drug addict. after all, he had to pack his bags right away; my parents wanted to take him to some kind of therapy right away tomorrow.
"well, i don't know. in these times that would be inappropriate, they are not in the best of moods - they shouldn't worry about me or about me throwing a party in secret, i just want everything to be okay with takeru again and not cause any more problems."
"i agree with you" hinata confirmed and reached for an apple.
i sighed. "guys, i have a confession to make..uh, yeah..i met takashi on saturday."
"you've got to be kidding me" the three of them spoke at the same time and a loud clink was heard as yuzuha knocked over her glass in shock.
"shit," she muttered, putting it back down and fixing her eyes on me "so?"
"we-"
"did you kiss?" emma screeched so loudly that several people promptly turned to us, annoyed.
"sorry. but...did you...?" the eyes of my three friends were now glued to me and i couldn't help but look away in nervousness.
"oh my god! you guys kissed!"
i nodded briefly and started to smile.
emma squealed and hinata and yuzuha looked at me with their mouths open.
"and? how was it? does he kiss as good as he looks? did you like it?" emma asked, still excited.
"yeah, i did" i admitted, feeling myself blush.
"oh, how sweet, y/n is in love" hinata laughed and took a sip of water.
"and..does that mean you guys are together now? i mean, like really?" yuzuha finally asked.
hm. i hadn't thought about that. were we together now? he had kissed me before, but was this kiss more significant now?
"uh - i don't know. we haven't talked about it yet."
"well, let's hope you'll talk about it soon."
i was still smiling to myself when i made my way to my locker alone a short time later, and when i opened it, several items immediately tumbled towards me.
no wonder with this mess.
i took the materials i would need to get everything done and slammed the door of the locker shut again. promptly, everything i held in my hands fell to the floor again as i was almost scared to death.
takashi leaned casually against a locker next to mine and looked at me with amusement.
"everything okay with you?"
"takashi, can't you at least make a noise to alert me to your presence?"
takashi grinned and crossed his arms. he looked me up and down, "you look good."
"thanks" i mumbled smiling and averting my eyes. it was strange to suddenly see him in such a normal place like a school, and the students who passed us were just staring at him.
"come on, let's go" he said with a grin on his lips and pulled me by the wrist with him to the exit.
i could literally feel people's eyes on us, and i saw students whispering as we walked past them.
my eyes widened as he led me to his bike, which was in the middle of the schoolyard. takashi booted up and looked at me promptly, "come on. i just want to take you home"
i looked at him uncertainly. "what if i get dizzy again?"
takashi closed his eyes briefly and opened them; his facial expression told me that i had better obey him, and i got on.
-
later that evening, i was in the kitchen with my mother to discuss everything for takeru, since all three of them would be away together for the next few days.
"tell me, y/n, do you have a boyfriend?"
i felt myself blushing again, and was about to open my mouth when the doorbell rang.
grateful for the distraction, i announced that i was going to open up, and with quick steps i went to the door, opened it and smiled after i saw who it was "hey. what are you doing here?"
takashi took a drag of his cigarette and stubbed out the smoke. he grinned casually before flicking it away and walking towards me.
his eyes glistened as he looked down at me, and i felt his rings press gently into my sides as his hands settled on my hips.
"takashi?"
takashi loosened his grip as he realized my mom was standing at the door frame looking at us.
"good evening, mrs. y/l/n" his voice was smoky, but it resumed the friendly tone it always had when he spoke to my parents.
"long time no see! why are you here?" my mother smiled happily at him.
takashi grinned and his eyes twinkled as he looked back at me and brushed a strand of hair out of my face,
"i'm here to pick up y/n for our date," he said, pressing a kiss on my forehead before smiling innocently at my mother.
