The light above the small white cot shone brightly as Izuku groaned from the sudden high-pitched ringing in his ears.

He assumed he was at the hospital, considering all of the recent events. He was conscious for only a few moments here and there, but he knew enough to know that a driver had hit them.

A driver had hit them. Hit them.

Izuku sat straight immediately, ignoring the blood rush as he squeezed his eyes shut and bore through the dizziness to find his children.

He ran out of the room in the hospital gown that he was dressed in and crashed into the nearest wall. That did not help his vision get any clearer..

He groaned a little when he fell backwards. His head felt like it was full of lead. He gasped for breath as he was forced to lay back down. A black shadow walked towards him and Izuku smiled softly as he whispered,

"Kacchan."

-------------------------------------------------------------------

"You poor thing," he said with pity. "Poor boy can't even stand up. I'm sorry, Midoriya. the doctors will come soon. I never meant to hurt you.... but I need my company to get back into the flow of things. It'll be over soon."

He lifted up Izuku into his strong arms. It was indeed not Katsuki. It was somebody else. Somebody who didn't see Izuku's best interest. Or even considered it for a moment.

He walked out silently and hid from a few doctors by staying in a what he thought was an empty room. Izuku was out cold, so he didn't worry about that.

What he didn't know was Izuko was standing right behind him.

"You're him!" Izuko shouted, curious as to why he was holding his unconscious Dad. "What are you doing with Dad?"

The man started to sweat. He didn't know that this kid was in here. He sighed. He thought that maybe he could lie that he was a doctor, but the kid would never believe that. He was smarter than he looked.

"Listen, kid," he said in a low tone.

Izuko stood stiff. He knew that the next thing the man was going to say was a threat. Izuko nodded his head before listening intently. Sweat building up on his forehead.

"If you want your Dad to live, then you've got to trust me. You're Dad will be home in a couple of days. Until then, don't tell anyone about this. Got it?" He said, honestly.

His plan didn't involve the death of Izuku, but he intentionally didn't add the parts where his Dad would be hurt.

Izuko gulped, "O-okay."

The man nodded before quickly going once again, his Dad still in his arms.

Izuko didn't the tears falling from his cheeks until they hit his shirt. He wiped them quickly when a doctor came in to check up on him.

"So, kid, are you sure you feel alright? Even if you weren't directly hit, the impact of the cars hitting against each other can make your head hurt."

Izuko nodded, "I'm fine."

The doctor, who looked oddly tired with messy purple hair, smiled softly, "Alright. Well, your sisters are doing fine, too. Your Papa is on his way here, so don't worry, Bakugou."

Izuko nodded again, but his gaze was fixated on the ground.

He didn't know if he was doing the right thing by not telling anybody, but he went with it.
