Long way from home

Chapter 36

May POV

I am worried about Pitch, but I know he is in good hands. We were in the lounge when Batman told us that Pitch may not live. I put my hand on Tula's shoulder. She just walked away from us and went to her room I guess.

"Should someone go and make shore she is ok." beast boy asks.

"Not right now." Night wing said.

Stella, Megan, super boy, and night wing went to go and ask Winter and Marco some questions. The rest of us stayed in the lounge.

"I'm going to go to the training room, anyone want to join?" lagoon boy asks.

"Yea I will." beast boy, blue beetle, and robin said at the same time.

I was on the couch watching tv when Martian manhunter came in along with Batman, Superman, Flash, and Canary. They looked really tired. They must've been with Pitch.

"How is he?" I asked.

"We'll know in a day or
two." Superman said.

We were sitting in the lounge, it has been two days now. We weren't aloud to see Pitch. I felt like they where hiding something from me. I could normally tell when someone is hiding something from me. They never look directly in the eyes of the person there trying to talk to. What are they hiding?

Martian manhunter and Superman was walking away from the direction of the room Pitch is in. They didn't have happy faces on.

I get up and walk in front of them and stop.

"What are you not telling us?!" I demanded.

"May what are you talking about?" beast boy asks.

"They are hiding something from us, and its about Pitch." I said not turning to look at the team.

"Superman is that true?" Super boy asks.

"Yes." Superman said.

They team gasped.

"I knew it!" I said louder then I attended to.

"You see Pitch lost a lot of blood before you got him hear, and his blood type isn't on earth. He is in a critical state and we did all we could to help him, and he still isn't showing any signs of getting better. That is why we haven't let you see him yet. We will tell you if there is any improvements in his health." Superman said.

"You shouldn't have kept that info from us." blue beetle said.

I was so angry at Superman and the league that I went for a walk.

When I finally cooled off I don't even know where I'm at.

"Um... hello, could someone tell me where I'm at?" I yell to the air hoping that someone was nearby.

I got no answer. Man I wish that I still had phenix with me. Just thinking of it makes me want to cry.
I walk around to see if anything looks familiar. Nothing did, and it was getting dark when I tripped over something.

"Ow!" I said.

I look down to see a small peace to a ship. Then it hits me I was in the forest where Pitch and Tula first came to earth.

"Ok now I just need to figure out how to get back." I said to myself.

"Your not going anywhere." a voice said.

I jumped and turned around to see the general right behind me.

"Man you are scarier in person." I said.

He just gave me a evil smile.

"Why are you smiling?" I ask backing away from him.

"You should know why. Aline." he said.

"What! I'm not an Aline." I said.

"Oh shore and I'm not the general." he said.

"Um.. ok bye." I said and ran as fast as I could, which wasn't hard for I could run fast but not as fast as Flash. But still pretty fast.
