Eyes on the ground waiting around
In another life I'd say what I've always thought about
How I'd die to make you mine
You can make me wait forever
Push me away or tell me never but
I'd come back a million times
Love is a cage
These words on a page
Carry the pain
They can't free it
Nothing could be worse than the risk
Would I lose what I don't have now
Or gain a better relationship
The fear builds up
It destroys the good
Causing me to lose everything
The past present and future changes as
I'm waiting to win this battle
Will this war ever be over
Or will it keep going forever
