Hia's POV

I looked at the shocked males and raised a brow at their lack of responses. "Either get out the way," I snapped at them, "Or do something, cause from what I've gathered of that creature-he doesn't stay down for long." Riddle, they called him, snapped out of it first. "OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!" He called out and a strange collar appeared around Grim. This caused the dizzy monster to come to. "Nygah!" He cried out, "The hell is this!?" "Laws of the Queen of Hearts Number 23: "One shall never bring a cat into a festival." You being a cat means you've broken the rule." Riddle said with confidence as he stood over the monster, "I shall have you leave at once." Ametrine hissed at them, offended at such a rule. I picked her up and scratch the back of her ears to calm her down. "I'm not a cat!!" Grim yelled back as he got to his hind legs, "I'll burn this collar right up and... E, eh? I can't use my fire!" 'So, the red-head has magic that can halt the use of another's? Interesting...' I thought as Heliodor jumped back onto my head. "Hmph! You won't be using any magic until I remove the collar." Riddle explained harshly, "Just like an ordinary cat." I rolled my eyes and used a water spell to put out the rest of the dying fire. "Wh-what?! I'm not some pet!" Grim yelled back, angry at having his power cut off. "Don't worry, I'd never keep a pet like you." Riddle said as he picked up the monster by the back of the collar, "I'll take it off anyway when you get thrown out." "Wow, as wonderful as ever." Azul, they had named, "Any and all magic gets sealed by your Unique Magic Riddle. I want it... No, I wouldn't ever want that cast on me." I gave him a strange look, he was rather greedy, wasn't he? "You must do something about this!" Crowley said, walking hastily towards me, "It is your familiar!" "I told you earlier that he isn't one of mine." I said sharply-not liking his accusation or tone. "Properly discip...eh? You did?" Crowley started but it seemed that he finally heard me, "Ah...that's right, you did..." He then cleared his throat as all of my pets either growled or hissed at him in anger. "Anyway, let's get it out of the school at any rate." The man said before turning his gaze to the captive monster, "We won't turn you into a stew. For I am gracious. Someone help, please." "Gyaaaa! Let me go!" Grim cried out as he was being led towards the door, "I'm going to, going to... Become the greatest magician!" With that, the doors shut behind him. "He could have been more patient if he was that desperate to get in." I quipped out. "We had a bit of trouble along the way but this brings the entrance ceremony to a close." Crowley said to everyone in the room, "Vice Dormitory Heads, please show the new students back to the dormitories while the Heads and I discuss with Miss. Hart here." Then he noticed something about the students. "...Hm? Now that I think about it, I don't see the leader for Diasomnia, Mr. Draconia, around at all..." "That's no different from usual, is it?" The lion boy said. "What?" The turban wearer spoke up, "Did nobody tell him about the ceremony?" "If you're going to complain," The beautiful boy said to him in a sharp tone of voice, "You should've done it yourself." "Hmmm. But I don't really know anything about that guy." The boy said back easily. "By Draconia... Do they mean "that" Malleus Draconia?" A random student spoke. "Is he seriously attending this school?" Another said. "Scary..." One said with a shiver. "I was correct." A rather small male with a deep voice said, "I thought he might come but Malleus really didn't. It seems the invitation "never arrived" again." 'How sad... He's ignored by the other students because of his abilities. Reminds me of someone else, in a way.' I thought as Emerald jumped onto my free shoulder. "My deepest apologies." Azul said falsely, "I promise, we didn't intend to exclude you." 'Yeah, right. Kiss up.' I snorted quietly, already knowing that guy's type. "His aura makes it hard to approach him." Riddle explained. "It's fine. Members of the Diasomnia Dormitory can come with me. ...I hope this doesn't upset him..." The strange male said before leading out the students with the others.

*30 minutes later*

"Then, Miss. Hart, I'm terribly sorry about this but... We must have you leave the school." Crowley said once the other students besides six males and the floating tablet had left the room, "For you see, this is an all-boys school and with you being female..." "She cannot leave." The Dark Mirror spoke up, "She was placed here for a reason." "Reason, what reason?" Crowley asked but the being in the glass said nothing else, merely faded away again. "Well, it seems we've come to an impasse." I said with a shrug, "You want me to leave but the Dark Mirror won't let you. And seeing as I'm not of this world..." "What do you mean by that?" The beautiful boy questioned me. I smirked and merely summoned Starlight before pointing in his direction. "A Keyblade!?" Crowley yelled in surprise before bolting over to me, observing my weapon once he was close enough. I let him but moved when he reached for the handle. "Sorry but Keyblades are picky on their users." I explained while I unsummoned my weapon, "Even if I allowed you to hold, that doesn't mean it will." "It's sentient?" Azul asked me, pushing his glasses up back onto the bridge of his nose. "In a way," I started as I crouched down and picked up Ametrine, "They don't exactly have a mind or soul in the way human or whatever you may be, lion boy." Said guy looked mildly confused before becoming offended, snarling at me with actual fangs. "I'm a beastman, herbivore." He snarled at me but it wasn't working-he wasn't nearly as frightening as a Demon Tower. "Beastman, well forgive me for not knowing-seeing as I've only ever encountered actually animals, not any like you." I said in deadpan tone, not frightened at all. That shocked him and looked like I slapped him. I quirked a brow at him. Crowley cleared his throat, gaining my attention. "You were explaining Keyblades to us, Miss. Hart." He spoke. "Hm, well as I was saying, Keyblades are weapons that hold a certain level of conscious that allows them to 'pick' their owners." I explained as I recalled my lessons back in the day, "The original Keyblades' wielders...now that's a tricky deal." "Really? Why?" The turban boy asked me. "A Keyblade is forged from the power of one's heart," I said as I placed my right palm over the center of my chest while still holding Ametrine in my left, "Then the wielder chooses a successor and if the Keyblade agrees-stays within the apprentices' hand rather than returning to the original wielder's." To show them what I meant, I summoned Starlight again and held it out to Crowley. He understood and placed his hand next to mine in the handle. I released the Keyblade, only for it to return to my other hand instantly-causing Ametrine to leap into my shoulder instead. I could hear the shocked reactions from the boys behind me as I dismissed Starlight, silently thanking the old weapon for its long cooperation. "All Keyblade wielders, in one way or another, follow this one old saying..." I spoke, cracking a slight smile at all the old memories it brought every time I said it, ""May your heart be your guiding key."" It was silent for a bit, the boys seeming to processes what's been said. I cleared my throat and said, "Of course, being a Keyblade wielder has a lot of danger to it as well." "What kind of dangers?" The tablet asked. "Well, one-we attract creatures called Heartless and Nobodies." I said as I snapped my fingers-bringing up images of said beings, "Natural Heartless are creatures made when a person's heart is consumed by normal darkness. They seek and consume the hearts of others, due to their natural desire to return to the greatest heart-Kingdom Hearts." I colored in the image of the Heartless, having used the image of a typical Shadow Heartless. The then colored in the image of a common Nobody Dusk. "This is a lesser and more common Nobody, a Dusk." I explained next, "They are what's left when a strong-willed individual loses their heart and falls to darkness. Their body is left behind to become this form while the abandoned soul gives it life." Then I made both images move-having dealt with these creatures for years, I knew their natural movements. "Both creatures are naturally draw to people like me because the Keyblade is a beacon of our heart's will and strength." I said before dismissing the images, "The Keyblades are also one of the few weapons that can actually damage them in any way." I looked over everyone in the room as Ametrine and Heliodor leaped to the floor to play with Onyx and Emerald. I then brought up an image of Xemnas from that last memory I had of him. "This is a special kind of Nobody. You see, the stronger the will one has, the more human they appear as Nobodies." I said as Xemnas moved as he does in my memories, "This is Xemnas, a powerful Nobody that leads a group of Nobodies called Organization XIII. Each individual in the Organization has a unique attribute and title. For example, Xemnas is called "The Superior of the In-Between" and he controls the attribute of Nothingness." "Life as a Keyblade wielder doesn't sound all that fun..." Turban boy said sadly, "You have to fight all those monsters." "Not all the time," I said with a shrug as I dismissed the image of Xemnas, "But that is a downside and there has been two Keyblade Wars since the first discovery of them. And to me, the pros out way the cons-I have the time of my life exploring different worlds and experiencing different things they have to offer." "So, it's all just one big adventure to you then." Riddle spoke up. "A little," I said with a shrug, "I mean, I get to meet new people and beings too... All while trying to keep the balance between light and darkness." "How can you just accept that!?" The lion boy snapped at me. I looked at him calmly and said, "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Just like with rulers of any kind, one decision affects the lives of all those around-we have to be conscious of the risks in order to ensure that life continues on." It looked like I sparked something in him because he backed down and looked thoughtful. I stifled a yawn and turned to the silent principal, "Is there anywhere I can rest? I've been using my magic for quite a bit and it's starting to wear on me." "Ah yes, since the Dark Mirror couldn't place you in a dorm, we'll have to." Crowley said, "Now if I remember correctly, he said that Savanaclaw and Scarabia were the top two dorms for you." "How about no?" I said in discomfort, "As you said, this is an all-boys school and with me being the only female on campus..." I shuddered at the thought of having to share a bathroom, let alone laundry with more than one guy. Crowley choked on his own saliva while the younger males looked uncomfortable as well at the mere implications I made. "Right," Crowley coughed before he managed to speak more clearly, "There is one other place I could house you, though it is rather rundown at the moment..." "You can't be serious on placing such a lady as herself in that disaster!?" The beautiful boy yelled. "Before that," I said with a dismissive wave, "Who are you all exactly?" "I am Vil Schoenheit, dorm leader of Pomefiore." The beautiful boy said, "Visit any moment you wish to have a decent make-over." I twitched at the implication but nodded lightly in acceptance at his words. Least he was nice-ish. "I'm Kalim Al-Asim!" The turban wearer said with a wide grim, "Come by Scarabia anytime! We'll throw you a party!" "Che, Leona Kingscholar." Lion boy said, "Savanaclaw leader." "I am Azul Ashengrotto." Azul said as he gave me a false pleasant smile, "Octavinelle is my dorm and if you ever need any help, please don't hesitate to seek me out." "Idia Shroud." The tablet spoke, "Ignihyde." "Riddle Rosehearts," Riddle said evenly, "I lead Heartslabyul and I don't tolerate rule breakers of any kind." I could see him eyeing Ametrine in distaste. I rolled my eyes before snapping my fingers. She then transformed-her fur was no longer a lilac color but a deep violet. Her eyes were pure black and her build was more fitting to that of a lioness while the flower on her forehead turned from yellow to blood red with sharper edges to the petals. It was the same with the small stars on her back as well. The white fur on her then changed to a wine shade. Her claws were extended and her upper fangs were peeking out from under her lips-like a sabretooth tiger's. And she was larger than Onyx had been in his transformation as well. "You were saying?" I asked as Ametrine calmly walked over to me and laid at my side. Riddle wisely said nothing as he eyed my giant pet in fear. I yawned behind my hand, dismissing her giant form for now. "Just so you all know," I said once I finished yawning, "All of my pets can transform, all they need really is my signal or the right encouragements to do so-say like facing a group of Dusk..." I then turned to a shell-shocked bird man. "My room for the night sir?" I questioned him, feeling more drained than before. "Ah, yes..." He coughed before motioning for me to follow him, "This way Miss. Hart." I nodded lightly and followed him, sending a backwards wave to the boys behind me while my pets trotted after us at their own paces. 'Luxu, I am so going to kill you the next time I see you-scheming bastard could have warned me...' I thought crossly.
