*Heartslabyul Dorm*
%Tea Garden-Several Days Later%
Hia's POV
"Make way for our leader, the Red Ruler: Prefect Riddle!" A Heartslabyul student said. "Three cheers for Prefect Riddle!" The rest of the students cheered. 'They actually sound real now.' I thought with slight smile. "Indeed. The roses are red and the tablecloths are white. Truly a perfect Unbirthday Party." Riddle said as he looked around, "And the Dormouse is inside the teapot like planned... Well, I guess it doesn't really matter now." "You don't have to change so suddenly, you know? And we can just use the jam on the scones, if you'd like." Trey said to him as he trailed after the Prefect, "We don't have to stop altogether at once. We can take things slowly." "Yes, you're right." Riddle agreed before Onyx and Emerald started to run around his legs. "In the end, we did all the cleaning up and preparations for today's party..." Ace groaned. "There, there." Deuce said as he patted the other boy on the shoulder, "It couldn't be helped since the Prefect had to recover." "The garden's back to being its photogenic self, so I'm already satisfied~." Cater said happily. "I wanna hurry up and eat~!" Grim said just as happily. "Okay, then without further ado-" Cater said before Riddle cut him off. "Wait a second!" "Eh?" Cater asked in confusion. "The white rose..." Riddle said as he looked at the single white rose on a nearby bush. "Eh! Did we forget that one!?" Ace cried in fear. "Aaahhhh!!" Cater cried in fear, "Acey, Deucey, you said you painted them all red!" "You're blaming us!?" Deuce asked in shock. "Ri-Riddle, this is..." Trey tried to cover. I smiled and shook my head as Riddle smiled. "I'm joking~." He said, "I won't get mad over every little thing again..." "R-Really!?" Cater said in shock before smiling, "Three cheers for Riddle!" "It will be quicker if we all painted it, after all." Riddle said. "Are you sure you've changed?" Ace asked with a sweat-drop formed on his head. "Now, now. Even so, it's really..." Trey said before chuckling, "Yup, you've changed, huh, Riddle." "I can't bear one second of this any longer!" Grim cried, "Let's hurry up and start the party!" "Alright, everyone." Riddle called out, "Are you ready?" With various confirmations, Riddle got everyone split into groups and everyone started to paint. "How long has it been since you last helped paint the roses, huh, Riddle?" Trey asked his friend as they all painted the roses. "I don't remember." Riddle answered, "Ever since I became Prefect, I always left it to the other students." "Doing it yourself is fun, too~." Cater chimed in, "Though we have quite a rowdy group of 1st years here with us." "Are you talking about us?" Ace asked him. "I've done this a lot, so I'm definitely gonna be better than Riddle!" Grim boasted. I chuckled and continued to paint manually. "Fufufu, shall we put that to the test, then?" Riddle asked the monster.
*Area 2*
"You're not doing well enough!" Riddle called out to everyone, "The red needs to be a lot deeper than that!" "Y-yes sir!" Deuce yelped. "See, he's still strict!" Ace groaned, "I thought he'd be softer on us by now!" "There, there~." Cater chuckled alongside me, "This is our Prefect's trademark, after all~." "If we're doing this, then we have to do it perfectly." Riddle said, "I won't go easy on you so we can have a great party afterwards."
*Area 3*
"Alright, that should do it." Riddle said as he turned the last white roses into the right shade of red. "Amazing...!" Ace awed, "He did that in one move!" "He dyed all the roses red with such amazing speed..." Deuce marveled, "As expected from the Prefect." "Riddle's got special training in magic, after all~!" Cater said. "You did great, Riddle." Trey said. "Now then everything's ready." Riddle said as he put his magic pen away, "Let us being our Unbirthday Party!"
*Tea Garden*
"So what happened to the tart you made, Prefect?" Ace asked once we were all seated. "I-I made some properly." Riddle said nervously as he brought out the tarts he made, "Here, I made this strawberry tart." "Looks good." Trey said as he looked the treat over, "The shape looks a little bit out of sorts but the nappage technique really brings out the shine in the strawberries. It looks pretty good considering it's your first time." "There he goes spoiling him again~." Ace teased, "Let's take a bite then!" "Ah, I'll take a pic first so don't slice it yet!" Cater said as he pulled out his phone and quickly took a picture of it, "...Okay, done~!" "Senpai's still the same as ever..." Ace said as he shook his head, "Alright, time to dig in!" The tart was divided between the table and just as I was about to take a bit-Heliodor popped his head down and ate it. "Th-this is...!" Trey and Cater chorused together in shock. "IT'S SALTY!!!!" They all yelled together and Heliodor enjoyed the bite he stole. "EH!?" Riddle cried out in shock. "What the hell...!?" Ace coughed as he downed half his water, "It's so salty! What'd you put in these?!" "I bought all the ingredients and followed the recipe book to the last letter. There's no way it could've-Ah!" Riddle said before he realized something, "Don't tell me...it's because I put oyster sauce in it...?" Deuce coughed and said, "Could it be the secret ingredient that Clover-senpai told us before...?" I snickered into my hand as Heliodor ate my slice of Riddle's tart. "I mean, Trey told me before that even though it's not written in the recipe, a delicious tart always has oyster sauce as a secret ingredient..." Riddle explained. "Ugh... As if...!" Ace groaned, "You should've figured out he was lying if you think about it for a bit!" "Even though you fell for it yourself?" I pointed out to him as Heliodor finished the slice. "Still, it's too salty even for a recipe that uses a "secret ingredient." Just how much did you put in?" Cater asked him. "I wouldn't know since it wasn't in the recipe." Riddle said, "I figured I should put a lot considering I was making many batches..." Trey laughed hard and said, "I didn't think that you'd take that joke seriously!" Riddle laughed as well and said, "You're right. It was really foolish of me." Deuce chuckled and said, "It's so bad it's making us laugh now, huh." "Guess we have no choice but to laugh at it, y'know?" Ace said before chuckling. "But, yanno, it's kinda delicious in its own right too." Grim said as he finished his slice. "Oh, I can kinda understand~!" Cater said as he nibbled, "It's not completely inedible~!" "Are you turning into Grim now too, Diamond-senpai!?" Deuce asked him in shock. "No, not at all~." Cater said. "That tart is delicious because it's not sweet, right?" Trey asked him. "Eh?" Cater gaped. "You hate sweet things, after all." Trey pointed out. "Yep~!" I said with a nod, "I noticed that when we made the marron tarts." "Eh, eh...?" Cater said in shock, "Trey, Hia-chan, how did you know that...? I've never told anyone that I didn't like sweet things though..." "You always ask me to change the cake's taste with my magic, right?" Trey said with smile, "It doesn't show on your face at all but I figured that didn't like sweet things too much." "When you ate the marron tart, you twitched as soon as you bit into it. It was small but I noticed it." I explained to him. "So you figured me out... I'm so embarrassed...!" Cater said, "You know, this might work for Riddle but I don't think that saying what you think of all the time is good at all~." I chuckled and shook my head. "I'll make you some quiche for the next Unbirthday Party, don't worry~." Trey teased. "Well, thank you." Cater relented, "Make them look 'grammable like a cake, got it?" "Fufufu~ All of Trey's sweets are so delicious no matter how much I eat~." Che'nya said as he suddenly appeared behind me, reaching for the tarts Trey made, "Munchiemunchie~." "Che'nya!?" Riddle said in shock, "What are you doing here?" "Hm~? I came to celebrate your Unbirthday Party~!" Che'nya said as he ate the sweet treat, "Congratulations, Riddle~." "The Unbirthday Party is a tradition exclusive to the Heartslabyul Dorm." Riddle said to him, "It doesn't concern you, does it?" "The same goes for those guys, y'know~?" Che'nya said as he pointed to me, my pets and Grim. "Ah, it's you!" Grim said as he finally noticed the intruder, "The nya-nya guy from last time! Speaking of, what dorm are you from anyway?" "He doesn't go here." I told him. "Hia is right, Che'nya's not a student of out school in the first place." Trey explained, "He's a student from Royal Sword Academy, Night Raven College's fated rival of old." "Eh?!" Deuce said in shock, "He's student from another school!?" "And from Royal Sword Academy to boot!?" Ace gaped in shock. "So that's the name of the other school..." I said in thought. "Did he just say Royal Sword Academy?" A student said. "Some of those guys are here!?" Another student growled. "What'd you say!?" A different student said in anger, "Where is he!? I'll chase him out!" "Whoopsies~." Che'nya said with a grin, "I already had my tart, so I'm outta here~ Fufufun~." And with that, he disappeared-leaving only his smile before that vanished too. "He got away!" The first student said. "After him!" The second one ordered. Everyone else got up and ran off, searching for the rival school student. "Everyone just kinda uh...up and left..." Grim said awkwardly. "Night Raven College students basically treat Royal Sword Academy students like enemies." Riddle explained. "It's a rivalry that's been going on for 100 years, after all..." Trey continued. "Well, well~ Let's not talk about something gloomy on such a happy day~!" Cater said with a smile, "Let's just enjoy our own Unbirthday Party~!" "Nyaha!" Grim cheered, "I'll eat my fill until I drop! Hooray for Unbirthday Parties!" I laughed as my pets cheered and started to got after the unattended food. "Better hurry~." I snickered as the boys gaped in shock, "Or there won't be any food left!" With that, they all acted quickly and started to gather what food they could. Grim, of course, got into a fight with Heliodor over some of the crunchy foods. He didn't last long and lost a good bit of the pile he made. I just laughed and watched the chaos.

No one's POV
"Ah-ah~ Must be nice. Looks like Heartslabyul's having an all-you-can-eat party." Ruggie said as he watched the Unbirthday Party from the balcony of the Dorm Leader's room, "I wonder if Savanaclaw has a filling tradition like that too~." "Hmph. What's so fun about a party where you just eat cake until the sun goes down?" Leona said as he lounged on his bed, "It's a good recipe for heartburn. More importantly, Ruggie. About that thing I asked for..." "Leave it to me~ It's moving forward smoothly~." Ruggie grinned before giving a laugh his kind where known for, "Shishishishi~." "Let's start that revenge plan on Malleus while those guys are busy with their afternoon tea." Leona smirked, a fang glinted in the light of the room, "He better be ready..." With that, the lion laughed darkly as the hyena watched on.
