HELENA ADJUSTED HER HELMET AT THE RED LIGHT. Once the traffic light had turned green and roared her engine. Her legs were spread out wide, leaning forward on the handgrip as she sped past the other cars around her. The black motorcycle shone underneath the sun as it drove on the rough concrete road. The day after the blonde had arrived in Beacon Hills she bought herself a brand new motorbike, one she had been staking out online for a few months. She drove down the road until she saw a big brick and stone sign with 'Beacon Hills High School' engraved on it.

She rode into the car park and parked the bike next to a green and white motorcycle with the number 32 printed in black on the front and sides. She pulled off the helmet and shook her short hair out, a few students passing by gawking at the sight of the blonde. The girl fixed the satchel on her shoulder and headed towards the double doors which students were going inside of. "Danny, chérie!" She called to the boy once she spotted him from across the car park. The said boy turned around with a confused look on his face but when he saw who was calling his name he stood up from the bench and opened his arms wide for the girl to jump in.

She leapt into his arms and spun around, Danny's friends watched the interaction extremely confused and stayed silent as they greeted each other. "Still got that french accent I see," He chuckled pulling apart from their embrace. "Oh shut it you prick." She laughed smiling widely at the tall boy in front of her. She had been living in France for the majority of her life but had picked up a little bit of an Italian accent from her younger years as well.

Helena shook her head smiling and locked arms with the dark-haired boy and towed him inside of the building. Danny waved a quick goodbye to his friends as they continued to the receptionist. The two walked through the busy hall that was jammed with teenagers, the buzzing of students talking and the familiar sound of lockers slamming was nostalgic but also incredibly annoying for the girl.

Helena pulled an excited grin as everyone chatted to their friends, somehow the first day of school could never get old for her as every year had something different to bring. "Here we are, your locker is next to mine," Danny stated while grabbing his textbooks. Helena leaned against the cold metal, observing her new classmates that rushed past her. Her eyes wandered over each head until she saw two girls opposite her and Danny.

One girl had long strawberry blonde hair and the other a brunette. The red-haired girl seemed to be checking out all of the new freshmen boys while her friend was collecting her stuff for her first classes. Helena could smell them from where she was standing, the strawberry blonde girl smelt of roses but was also slightly tangy to go with the sweet scent as if the roses were beginning to rot. The other girl smelt of gunpowder and silver, immediately the blonde could tell that the two girls were a banshee and a hunter.

Helena found it strange, it was such an unusual pair to find. She decided to stay away from the brunette girl, not wanting to start any trouble but made a mental note to talk to the banshee later if she got the chance. They seemed quite close but Helena couldn't help wondering if the brunette knew her friend was a banshee. The two girls seemed to be staring at something in the distance so the blonde followed their gaze to see two boys walking down the hall.
