A while later, Anakin came back, him, Padme and Grace hugged, when they let go, Padme said "are you alright? I heard there was an attack at the Jedi Temple, you can see the smoke from here"
"I'm fine, I'm fine" Anakin said "I came to see if you, Grace and the baby are safe"
"What's happening?" Padme asked
"The Jedi have tried to overthrow the Republic" Anakin said
"I can't believe that" Padme said
"I saw Master Windu attempt to assassinate the chancellor myself" Anakin said
"Anakin, what are you gonna do?" Grace asked
He walks away, stopped and said "I will not betray the Republic, my loyalties lie with the chancellor and with the senate and with you"
"What about Obi Wan?" Padme asked
"I don't know" Anakin said "many Jedi have been killed, we can only hope that he's remained loyal to the chancellor"
"Anakin, I'm afraid" Padme said
"Me too" Grace said
"Have faith, you two" Anakin said to them "everything will soon be set right, the chancellor has given me a very important mission, the separatists have gathered on the Mustafar system, I'm going to end this war, wait for me until I return, things will be different, I promise"
They kissed, then Anakin bend down to Grace's level and said "Grace, I need you to promise me that you'll help Padme when she needs you"
"Yes Anakin" Grace said
He smiled, puts his hand on her cheek and said "that's my girl" and he kissed her forehead
He got up and said to them "wait for me" and he went back into his ship
C3PO went up to them and said "oh my lady, is there anything I might do?"
"No thank you, 3PO" Padme said
"Oh I- I feel helpless" C3PO said
"Wait, actually" Padme said and C3PO stopped "could you send Grace to bed?"
"Of course" C3PO said, he took Grace's hand and they went back to her room
At her room, Grace was sitting in bed when C3PO was sitting on it, he noticed that Grace was worried, so he said "is there something troubling you, Miss Grace?"
"I'm just worried about Anakin" Grace said
"I'm sure he'll be alright, he's just in under a lot of stress" C3PO said
"Oh" Grace said
"I'll be downstairs if you need anything" C3PO said as he got up and started leaving the room
"Okay" Grace said and he left the room
She lied down and fell asleep
